I use the Asics Kayano fior long runs, half's and marathons. This Sauciony Emdorphin has been great for short runs and tempo training .The sole has a very flat waffle -like tread and so does not have traction in rain and any non-flat surface

Not a bad shoe, but I think Saucony ruined this line. The Endorphin Speed 1 was probably the better shoe I ever had. Model 3 felt different but still a awsome shoe. This 4 version is just meh. Not comfortable enough for long runs, not fast enough for speed workouts.
