I got these shoes 3 weeks ago. They have a hard sole great for gravel with larger rocks as you don’t feel them. I did suffer blisters on heels first use but I should have broken them in gentler instead of doing long walk. No issues after I put some kms on them. Always use shoehorn as backs are stiff.

I have own Salomon Speedcross trail runners for years and just bought a new pair because I love them for being lightweight, excellent grip, quick dry. Took them for an inaugural hike through the Swiss Alpes and they hold up to all my expectations! Highly recommend!

Once I found these shoes, four years ago, I don’t want to wear any other trail runners. The grip is perfect. I love the laces; you get the security of laces without needing to tie them (or having them come untied). My first pair lasted four years and would’ve lasted much longer but I wore them daily and ran ~5 miles a day on rocky terrain. I can’t recommend them enough.

I love the speed cross shoes. I used them daily and on hikes in Anchorage. The only downside is how fast the bottom tread wears out.

I absolutely love this shoe and have been buying it for years! However, I wish the inner heel back would be made to last longer. It doesn't take long before the material and stuffing begin to disintegrate. This happens way before any other part of the shoe starts to wear down.

I live in the mountains of Colorado and do alot of steep, technical, high elevation trails; peak bagging with exposed ridge traverses, etc and the Speedcross gives me confidence on the hard terrain. The grip is unmatched. My narrow foot feels secure in these shoes and gives precision on technical trails. My gold standard!

I’ve been buying the speedcross model for over 15 years. They look and feel great and hold up for a long time. I’ve had at least 12 pairs over the years. I love them so much I’m always afraid to try new styles.

I needed new lightweight hiking shoes for a 2 week trip with daily hiking in the Alps (25000+ steps a day!) Very minimal break-in needed. Great traction, lightweight, minimal foot fatigue. I felt safe, confident, and comfortable the whole time! And they're still going strong on regular hikes now that I'm home. I have high arches and am prone to blisters from rub spots. No problems with these shoes though. LOVE THEM and highly recommend.

I just purchased my second pair of SpeedCross trail shoes. My first pair lasted many years, getting me through mud, gravel, wet pavement, and cobblestones. They run a little narrow. However, they have great support for a high arch and they grip my heel better than any other Salomon model I have tried.

I have worn the Salomon Speedcross for many seasons now and it continues to be my go to shoe for comfort and support. The Speedcross 6 allows me to run effortlessly from asphalt to trail and back. It feels very secure on wet grass, soft mud or even light ice. If you are looking for a versatile trail shoe this is a great choice.

Im 70 years old with bad arthritis and this shoe provides the cushioning I need as well as stability. Because of this shoe i can still walk, slowly, the trails

As a loyal Salomon fan/customer I can give only a positive review on this model in particular. My title says it all regarding the women's speedcross 6. I wear a 6.5 in the non goretex and a 7 in the goretex for a little extra room for a slightly thicker ped. I have worn both on the pickleball court running and hiking. However, I would not wear them on an endurance run since I prefere a bit more cushion and only wear asics for ultra runs. The no tie laces are key for quick slipping on and off. The stability of this model is perfect for my needs and foot. The only downside is the treads wear down super quick, and the amount of miles I log in have me buying a new pair every 4/5 months. Otherwise, I would give 5 stars. Yet, I sill find myself attached and going back to this model for 7 years now. I have tried other salomon models, such as the Unisex which did not work for me at all!
