Great On Packed Snow Trails

Unexpectedly decent on snowy trails (not ice). The Gore-Tex versions are even better in the winter. I find these a bit too wobbly on hard-packed trail surfaces.

Used For Walking/hiking Off Road

The lacing system upper design provides for a quick secure fit that is adjustable on the fly. The upper material is quite comfortable but is warm when temps go high. The grippy outsole will wear quickly if used on pavement as it is designed for soft (snow/mud/dirt). The shoe is very flexible (I like this) but does not provide much rock protection with the footbed/sole.
