Definitely Not Waterproof Or Resistant
I had an older model called the Packmate, and it was perfect for many years, but the zipper broke. I bought this 120 L duffel and packed clothing, sleeping bags blankets. The attachment to the rooftop of my pickup truck was perfect. However, it was not even water resistant. Blankets were packed in a plastic bag and they were soaked. Everything on the top of my truck was soaked. It says that it is durable, even in wind and rain and nope, no way when I got to my campsite everything I had was drenched. I am going to return this device.

Fits Most Cars, But Not Mine
I purchased this last month, wanted the larger one that was actually less expensive. Since I was leaving for vacation in a few days I decided to purchase this one, needless to say the straps clips did not fit securely so I could not attach this to the roof of my car. I will say that the sales associate during my purchase and my return were extremely pleasant, courteous and helpful.
