Bought this so my son could learn to dress his fish, and also used it to butcher meat chickens. Worked great for both!

The knives are fine. They come sharp. But the sheathes are fragile.

I really like that you could get a combo pack with 2 different size knives for a variety of fish sizes.

Nice knife set for my husband and son when they go fishing. And they price was very reasonable.

I bought these about a week ago and have filleted 3 red drum with the 7.5", and have used the 4" for cut bait and processing shrimp. Both have worked pretty well so far, but it's important to use the sharpener before each use of filleting fish. You're not going to easily cut through large fish scales with these knives, but for the price, this is a solid combo.

Glad it came with a sharpener and shieths for each knife. They are a good brand thats been around a long time.

I bought the set during the winter and used it for the first time yesterday. I couldn’t even fillet a fluke I had to use my folding knife... I still have my grandfathers rapala fillet knife but the handles worked loose after almost a decade of use. I guess quality has gone out the window. The sharpener is next to useless.

I bought this set of fillet knives for my husband for Christmas. They are used multiple time a week and he says they stay sharp. Nice to have both sizes of knives.

I have owned Rapala filet knives for many years. Apparently the Chinese are using cheaper steel as opposed to stainless like they use to. I have only used the knife 2 times to fleet fluke in the ocean and already the knife blade is rusty. I was it after each use and only use it for one purpose, filleting fish.

Love how you have two sizes to flip back and forth when taking on a task . The sharpener is low in the grove when sharpening you don't have that fear you'll slice your self up gives that extra protection .

I purchased this for early trout fishing, it performed flawlessly with great value as well as quality!
