This is a great first kayak. We bought it on sale so with the pre installed accessories it couldn’t be beat!

Hands Down The Best Kayak For The Money. I've Tried Them All

I've had over a hundred kayaks in the last 8 years as I buy, sell and rent them and this is by far hands down the best bang for the buck kayak out there especially on the sale price. It's got a real seat so it's super comfortable. It's a little extra wide and flat so very stable. I teach people how to kayak in these. They're way safer than any sit in which I never recommend due to the tipping and filling with water issue. Dick's has always served me right with military discount and points coupons.

    Comfy & Stable

Bouth these kayaks for my kids that had outgrown their previous ones. Made sure to get the sling seats and so glad I did! They are SO comfortable to visit in for hours on the water fishing. Also perfecrt.size for us and can load 2 in back if truck without issue. The sale price was such a great deal we could not pass these up! So glad we made this purchase. . . . .highly recommend!

    Great Budget Kayak!

I bought two of them after renting once and realizing we wanted to kayak more. The style of seat is what sold me and we have no regrets! They have exceeded all of our expectations. In 2 months we have used them for a spring fed river, around a whole lake, and even in saltwater mangrove mazes! I’m glad we went with this model! Great size and comfort for the price. They are very stable and cut the water very well.

    Not A Bad Little Kayak

Not too shabby, I wanted something that was smaller and portable. My primary kayak is a 14' (name omitted) but it is long, wide and heavy when fully loaded. I wanted something lighter that I could put on a car top carrier and hit shallower waters, run rivers and work my upper body more. This Quest Teton 100 Kayak fit the needs. At the price point I paid, I was surprised with the stability and the ease of movement. 5'10" and 230lbs can comfortably sit in the framed seat for around 6 hours without an issue. Absolutely a shift from a 14' larger kayak to a smaller (and narrower kayak) but easily done with some modifications of how I store my gear. I appreciated this enough, my son decided to jump on one and buy one too! Would I do it again? Sure. Nothing beats a smaller watercraft weighing 50lbs esttimate versus my larger one at 150lbs fully loaded. Everything has a purpose and a niche.

Super Kayak At A Superb Price

I bought one of these Teton 100 kayaks, used it a few times and loved it, and then went back and bought a second one from Dick's for my wife. I shopped all the usual places, to include Sam's Club, and found this kayak to be the best value. I love the design, full-frame seats, rod holders, and rail system. Zero regrets.

    A Disappointment

My family has been kayaking for years and my 3 grandsons (8, 9, and 12) have graduated from kid size kayaks to adult so I bought 3 of these kayaks for them to enjoy on the river. I noticed Dick's had the Qiest Teton on sale at a decent price. Before purchasing, I did my research and this kayak had great reviews both on online forums and YouTube. Let me say this, the people that gave this kayak good reviews must have received incentives or kickbacks from Lifetime, Quest, or DICK’S for doing so because there is nothing good about these kayaks. The Quest Teton is very cheaply made and absolutely not worth the $299 sale price. When picking up the kayaks we inspected them first before loading; 2/3 kayaks the handles were broke, one kayak was severely scratched like it was rolled down a gravel hill, the scupper plugs weren't drilled out on all 3, and the dry wells on 2/3 were warped so bad you could see the red dry bag without even opening the lid. The store had to bring out 6 kayaks before we found one that didn't have some type of issue. We finally said forget it and decided to look for another brand. I would not recommend this kayak. Save a little more money and look for something else.

    Great Basic Fishing Kayak

I have three of these kayaks now for my two boys and me. It has all ne necessary basics for a fishing kayak: space for gear in the front and rear, two rod holders, accessory gear tracks, and an adjustable seat that sits above the kayak bottom to keep you dry.
