High Quality Backpack.

Got this as a replacement for my Talon 22 from 2020. The design has changed a little, but its soul is the same.

Hiked the Inca Trail with this backpack and water reservoir. Comfortable and well designed.

Talon 22

I am very pleased with Talon backpack overall appreciate the quality and features however I do find it on the large side compared to the Scarab 22 which it replaced same capacity my only real concern is the internal frame which is a bit stiff and rectangular potentially I feel top of frame could have been more rounded I would worry that square corners will eventually wear through in time.

Almost Perfect, But Not Quite…

The Talon 22 is a great pack, built to Osprey’s typical high standards. It’s almost perfect for summer munro-bagging, save for two things. Z poles don’t work well with the pole holding system provided; I’d like to see long pole sleeves instead of bottle pockets on the sides of the pack. There isn’t anywhere to easily stow my iPhone; I’d like to see a zipper pouch added to one of the shoulder straps for this (I have added an aftermarket one, which does the job, but it’s ugly and I’m sure Osprey could do much better).

Comfortable Backpack, Excellent Quality

I've bought it for London 2 Brighton ultra. It worked perfectly. I will use it for similar challenges for years.

Amazing Pack, Amazing Service

Been using my Talon 22 for a few weeks now - perfectly sized day pack, good enough for an overnight business trip, with all the detailed features that more average companies forget, like properly designed side mesh pockets for a good size waterbottle, and a stretchy front stash for a waterproof jacket or fleece. All topped off by amazing Osprey service.

I received this as a replacement under the ‘Almighty Guarantee’. I am very pleased with my new rucksack. After so many years and Km of service the old one has been given a well earned rest. No doubt in the great trekking ground in the sky. Many thanks to Osprey for their excellent service.

So Far So Good

Limited usage so far but is comfortable, not too sweaty behind my back, not too heavy, plenty of space.
