I work on my feet all day without breaks. I buy a wide even though I measure as a medium width, so that my toes aren't crunched. This 880 doesn't roll, and the edges of the sole feel planted and stable. This is a deal break in a shoe like the 520 that wobbles. The 880 doesn't wobble.

I still like the shoe, but there were some style changes and I wish I would have ordered a half-size larger than I used to for this model as it now runs smaller.

Very disappointed in this shoe! I bought two pairs, as I have been wearing the 880's for decades. Unfortunately, both pairs seem to be defective, as they caused severe blistering on the outside of my big toe. I now have 2 almost new and expensive shoes I can't wear!
Great shoes at a great price! Will definitely buy again.

These Fresh Foam X 880v14 shoes are great! The cushioned insoles made a real difference when walking. And the large toe box is comfortable in the double wide size.

Ordered 2E but narrower than previous V13 pair. Unable to return due to wear but too tight to enjoy. Very disappointed in model consistency.

Wide Footed Wonder
I have hobbit feet and these are the perfect shoe! High arches and wide feet are a difficult combo. Size 10 1/2 D women’s size. With fitted orthotics, these are perfecto. I order them regularly!

Returned these shoes. They are clunky. Short in the length. I have the same brand and size in another style. These aren’t true to size apparently.

I loved these shoes.. they really are soft to walk on, helped with my knee pain. I was concerned that with the foam soles there would be no support but there is. What I noticed however is new balance apparently narrowed their wide shoes. I ordered wide as I always do but these are fairly regular width. I had ordered a second pair and they actually felt wider than the first pair. I’ll be more cautious next time and if they have an extra wide I may try it. Since new balance never maintains a style as they are always changing something about the newer versions of a shoe I’ll have to be more cautious about ordering next time. I also am disappointed that new balance does everything in mesh uppers now. I don’t think you L find leather uppers anywhere. But all in all these still provide me with more support than other brands so I guess they got me.

On recommendation of podiatrist I have been buying this shoe for 2 years now.Great fit and so comfortable.Very happy will not buy anything else.
