Walking On Clouds

Running was even better as the curved sole reduces strain on my ankle and makes each stride easier than conventional flat shoes. Running on concrete now doesn't put stress on my joints, particularly knees.

I have purchased many pairs of NB shoes. This pair of shoes is the most unstable pair I have ever had in my life time. You can basically rock front to back just standing still. Totally unstable shoe.

Helps Me Get The Most Out Of My Runs

The material is light and airy and the inner shoe is soft on the foot with included arch support. It grips any surface with ease and the way the sole is designed, with its slightly rounded shape, means you can run with the least amount of energy going through your legs and knees. This makes running easier on my body and helps me go further on my daily run. Overall great product and would recommend to anyone, beginner or advanced, who runs!

Lots of cushion at the back for any heel strikers and it feels like an aggressive trainer that wants to see how long you can hold your quicker pacers. Would be ideal for marathons for sub elite runners and then great trainers for anyone who is pushing some serious PB’s! Another note - the upper, it’s nice and breezy. Great for hot weather. Runs a touch narrow but good for lockdown!

Power, Speed And Energy Return

I took my New Balance SC rebels out for a first run on a 5K tempo run which would normally take me over 25 minutes but I finished it in 24. Amazed at how lightweight they feel and the awesome energy return. I did start out trying to run on some grass, but realized that the uneven surface wasn’t right and ended up finishing the run on pavement, which I realized was much better.

Not The Best For Wide Feet

4/5 stars, the toe boxes for rebel lines are usually roomy but I found the SC Rebel to be a bit tight. Not a fan of the length of the laces either. If you are known to have wide feet, get the wide version rather than a size up.
