Just Another Frustrated Guy.
I bought this a year ago, pretty disappointed in the product. Every camera uses a different panel and wiring. Extra cost. Solar panel doesn’t charge up. Other issues with the cam as well. Great idea of using Bluetooth to pair with the feeder motor, and control it from home. But the theory differs from the real application and performance. Squirrels love to chew on the panel and wire. Replacement parts are usually out of stock. Reviews posted from others are similar to my experience as well. I truly hope they work out the kinks.

Will Not Charge In Sun
Glad I only purchased one. Had to fully charge from home which took about a day, hooked it up to the camera and it stayed connected for about 2 weeks and died. The sun will not charge it, you have to charge it at home which is a waste for a supposed "solar" panel.

Bad Product
The solar panels have let me down. Do yourself a favor and buy something better. I have three cameras all set up with solar panels and only one seems to continue to worked. The other two started working fine and the batteries slowly depleted until they died and now i have two cameras on the field dead not knowing what movement is going on. The cameras sometimes start working for a day or so before they go back off. Honestly very disappointed and might look at a different set up since i cant trust my current set up. Not going to make a 6 hour round trip just to swap batteries. That was the whole purpose of the solar panels.

Worked Great For About 4 Months
Bought one at the beginning of last season. Worked great for about 4 months and kept my Edge 2 Pro fully charged. After that, it completely stopped working by not holding a charge or supplying power to the camera. Would leave in bright sun for days and the panel would have zero charge. I also tried to charged it with a power cable. That didn’t work either

Works Good For A Short Time
Worked well for first couple of weeks. Bought in December for Christmas. About over the past couple months, it wouldn’t charge over 77%, and even after a full overnight charge is only showing 67% now. I’ll think everything’s fine and charging in the sun and then boom, dead.

Poor Battery Quality
I purchased 3 solar panels and two out of the three are giving me issues. One I have to bring it back home to recharge and the other one just gave up and won’t keep any charge. It blinks 8 times and never charges up.

Solar Panels Are Were They Need To Work On
Great cameras i have 4 of them. Battery packs work amazing. 2 out of my 4 solar panels have stopped. No water or any damage. They just stopped charging. Love the company. They just need to really step up their game on their solar panels.

Not As Advertied
Absolute waste of money. In the middle of an open field during a drought and this thing couldn’t stay alive. I’ve spent hours dealing with batteries that should be a non issue. And my Moultrie camera just chews through batteries.

Panel Notes Charging When Charged At Home.
I have 4 of these solar panels. Three of them have worked well, but 1 has be less than stellar. Since it's prep time for the up coming season, I pulled all my batteries and solar panels and charged them all. . . but 1 panel won't charge more than 2 cells on the display. I've changed cables, charging blocks, everything I can think of and after FIVE days being plugged in to charge, STILL only 2 cells!! Haven't even had this a year and here I am!!

Was Good Until I Wasn't Able To Replace The Cord.
Lost the power cord. Having horror time, figuring out which is the best one to buy because I want the screws like the one sold with it. Tried site and now I am writing a review. Why make the cord hook up like that with the screws and everything? I can't even purchase a replacement cord. Makes no sense.

The solar panel is a must have . I have great battery power. I save money because I don't have to buy batteries. The most amazing part to me is the tracking capabilities. Thank you Moultrie for putting customers first.
