These are great, versatile shoes but they are just a tad too narrow for me in the toe box. I'm very sad to have to return them. Please provide more colours in the wide version. If they were just a bit wider in the toe box I could keep them and definitely would give them a 5 rating.

This is my second pair of this very same model. I absolutely love them! They are very comfortable and perfect for my daily walks and occasional hikes.

Love the style but too narrow and my feet hurt so bad when I wear them. I’ve only worn them twice so it was a waste of money.

I bought these hoping to find a Merrell shoe that had good support. I feel these are hard and uncomfortable. My feet hurt after being in them. This is now the 3rd pair of Merrells that are not comfortable on me anymore. Maybe my foot changed, maybe the shoes aren’t as good as they used to be. I think I’m gonna have to give up on Merrell. Just not working for me anymore.

I love these low hikers so much that I bought a third pair recently. The new pair will explore England, Wales and Scotland this month. They have good arch support and look stylish while being completely functional.

I like the way they look, they fit well, and there's plenty of room for my toes but they are rather hard - not a lot of cushioning in the sole

This is my second pair of Merrell tennis shoes, and I love them. I have R-knee pain and a very, very mild low back pain, and these shoes just give me the support I need. I highly recommend it.

I wish I had rated it higher but it has fallen short on my expectations. This is my second pair, the first one I got in 2020, and this one I got 6 months ago in 2025. Found a slight decline in the overall quality. At first it's a beautiful looking shoe but I have major doubts about its overall quality. The top of the shoe starts losing its shape right from the first use (funny i noticed it then in the product photos here). But what's shocking to me is the way its deteriorating despite me using it just for regular walking on pavements, daily use, no hikes no trails at all for what it's meant to be. I'm sure there ll be holes sooner. I understand it's a hiking shoe but overall I found the sole being pretty hard n devoid of any cushioning making it painful for regular use. If suggest use it as a hiking shoe only.

I bought these waterproof hikers a few years ago and have worn them consistently for all hikes for all seasons. They are just now starting to break down in the mesh part of the shoe. They are comfortable, sturdy, can handle rugged trails as well as marshy rainy trails. I have been wearing Merrell hiking boots and shoes since 1981. They do not disappoint..

Lightweight, sturdy, comfortable! I’m on my feet a lot at work, and I especially appreciate the non-slip sole and arch support!

I’ve always loved this sneaker. Great support all day being on my feet. I’m glad they didn’t stop making this style.

For the last few years, many brands of athletic shoes have been way too pinched in the toes. Ordering up leaves too much room in the heel. So, I finally went with Altra barefoot tennis for casual wear, due to the wider toe box. I have been looking for a style appropriate for hiking, and decided to try Merrell; the Siren Edge 3 was said to have a wider toe area, by several reviewers. Well, I am pleasantly surprised to say, my normal size of 9 fit perfectly. There is no slip in the heel, and plenty of toe room. But, unlike the specifically barefoot style brands, the Siren Edge looks streamlined and tapered in the toe, not boxy. The shoes are lightweight but sturdy feeling, so will probably be great for trail walking. So far, I like them.

worst shoe I ever bought. It was too narrow. I still have them. Need to donate them.

I like the look. The toe box could be wider and they definitely need more of an arch support. I’m keeping them but will not order again.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ Review: Pros: • Weight: Extremely light, which helps reduce fatigue on high-mileage days. • Grip: The Vibram sole is top-tier; no slipping on damp rocks. • Aesthetic: It has a streamlined, classic look that isn't overly bulky. Cons: • Sizing: I found they run slightly narrow in the midfoot, so you may want to size up if you wear thick hiking socks. • Protection: Because they are lightweight, you'll feel the terrain more than you would in a stiff leather boot. Final Verdict: An ideal choice for hikers who prioritize agility and speed over heavy-duty ankle protection.
