Great Trail Shoe

After two knee replacements and a repaired fractured hip, I struggled to find a shoe that would allow me to go on a daily trail walk with my dog without having pain in my feet. The Moab 3 style has worked for me right out of the box. The shoes have a sturdy sole but flexible upper which gives my feet the stability and comfort that they need. I bought the earlier version of this shoe. Wore it twice and the back of the shoe fell apart . Reached out to Merrell and they said it was wear and tear. Send pictures including the bottom of the shoes which confirmed it was barely worn. Very disappointed with their response and the quality of these shoes

These are perfect hiking shoes, straight from the box. They have the grip of hiking boot without the height to rub against my Achilles. Very happy with them.

Vibram Soles?

Initially liked these shoes especially for the better toe box not slanted. However, within a week of wearing I developed plantar fasciitis and serious pain in the ball of my foot. I looked up VIBRAM soles and they do not have a good reputation. They are too hard/stiff! I had gotten rid of previous shoes with VIBRAM soles for that very reason. For some reason my jungle mocs, which also have Vibram soles haven't been a problem. I have 3 pair that I routinely wear and they don't seem nearly as hard and stiff. Are their different levels of these soles? I'm unsure what I can do about these shoes now as my feet are killing me and will take a long time to recover...

Great Hiking Shoe

Love the shoe. Very stiff at first. To get used to. But found it to be excellent for uneven ground in a campsite . Gives you a good grip when you need it. Took awhile to "break In " as they say. But happy with the product. Would definitely recommend the brand. Just st give it time for your feet to adjust. Very well made product .

Comfort For Walking Distances

This is a very comfortable shoe that fits the ebbs and flows of my arch and ball of my foot. I did have to get the 1/2 larger than I usually get in my Merrell shoes. I could walk for miles and miles with no discomfort and no warm wear spots.

It has good traction but it kinda hurt my toes especially going downhill. May be its front is too hard? My Merrell water hiking shoes are more comfortable with equally good traction, and less expensive.
