Really Good Shoe

I've been buying Merrells for several years now. They are comfortable and durable. I have a high arch and this shoe works well with that. I usually buy the hiking version of this. It comes up higher on the ankle. I might like that style a little bit better.

Very Poor Value.

I've had these shoes for a month now and my feet are fatigued, my legs are exhausted and my knees have been in pain and killing me since I started wearing them. These shoes lack cushion, they are hard and stiff. The soul of this shoe has a narrow base. While hiking up hill the shoe's lack of support caused my ankle to roll and ultimately landed me on the ground. Result... two painful sprained wrists. I highly do not recommend these shoes, their design is poorly thought out. Waste of money.

Good Shoes. Worked In The Rocky Mountains

Good shoes, wrong picture. I bought these in black. I hiked in the Rocky Mountain foothills and also up to 10,000 feet in Rocky Mountain National Park. The shoes worked well for me. I thought the black color would change in the Colorado dust but the shoes are still black.

Right off the bat, out of the box, I tested my Moab 3 on one of my favorite rated hard trails. They did amazing! The grip of the sole climbing up on dirt, gravel, loose rock was fantastic! No slipping no sliding. They carried me safely extremely well! Very comfortable! Im so glad I purchased!

Doesnt Fit Like It Always Has

Got my yearly new pair of Moabs, and was really disappointed to find that somehow the fit has changed. I order the exact same size every year, but they seem wider this season and my foot moves around. I made sure I didnt order the wide by mistake, but no. I hurt my ankle on my first walk from the lack of stability. Super super disappointed. The shoes look great, but if they injure my feet I have no use for them.
