Jungle Moc For Wide Feet Gals? Maybe? Maybe Not

I standardly wear a size 7.5W, and my foot measures at a size 7.5. However, in shoes, I prefer to go a half size up. In this case, I had to size up to an 8.5 W. I was told I have have high arches, and not sure if that is contributing to the tight fit I am feeling when I wear this. I even used a shoe stretch for weeks to stretch it. While wearing and moving, it feels ok, but when I sit at my desk, it is unbearably uncomfortable and snug feeling. I bought this for work, as it has no laces, and it's an easy slip on shoe. It's got good traction and is sturdy all the way around. I just wish my feet felt comfortable in it, whether I was moving around or sitting. Then it would be a 5/5. As it is, it's a 3/5. I have even placed expensive inserts for high arches on the inside to see if that helps. Nope. It is too late to return.

Great Shoe

My first time with this shoe. I wanted a slip on with good support that didn’t look awful. I purchased Navy. Great right out of the box. I can stand and walk in this shoe all day with zero back strain.

I love the perfect fit of the shoes & very comfortable. But they are super slick, I fell in a motel lobby and next day in department store, I have never worn such slick shoes not sure what to do.

My son introduced me to these over 25 years ago. They are the best footwear for all ages. Comfortable and easy on the feet great for work or walking recreational. Worth the money.

My Favorite Shoe Of All Time

This is one of my favorite shoes of all time! I used to wear these when I commuted to my office in NYC and now I wear them daily around the house and running errands. They slip on which is so convenient, plus they are supportive and comfortable for walking around and standing for long periods too! I love the color of this one with the white and pop of pink!! They are excellent quality and last for several years. Well worth the money!

Great Every Day Weight Slip-ons.

Slip on easily, fit true to size, same great quality as my Moabs but better for city or indoor use. Usual great workmanship, solid support, dont need my orthopedic inserts. If your arch is flat you may not like them as well as us high-steppers. Previous Mocs have lasted about 10 years.

No Longer A Really Good Shoe

I used to love these shoes. They were comfortable, they were durable, and now, at least for the comfort part, they are not. I went today to try on a new pair because I wanted them in black. They were so narrow they totally rubbed against the side of my foot, causing extreme pain where I had surgery in the past. My previous Merrells in the same size did not do that. I'm sad that I wasn't able to buy what I wanted today for my trip, and now I'm going to have to look for a totally different brand.

Best Walking Shoes I Have Ever Had

Just bought my third pair. I wore the first pair constantly for ~ 2 yrs. So when I finally bought a new pair I quickly decided to get a third in case the style changes in the future. Best walking shoes I have ever had. Comfy, slip on but with a very stable feeling heel surround, look good enough (for me!) to wear out to dinner when traveling and a solid feeling arch.

Needs Wider Selection In Wide

I’d love to buy more of these, but Merrill seems to think that people with wide feet only want black and dark gray. It is a darn pity that not more colors are available in wide.

Poor Quality.

The left shoe had a horizontal ridge digging into the arch of my foot and I could not bare weight without pain. The right shoe had the same issue but the ridge was not as pronounced. I felt life I was standing on a stick. Sent back. What a disappointment. I’ve bought Merrell for years.

So Happy Navy Blue Is Back!

Loved Merrell Jungle Mocs for years. Original pair of navy are getting a bit worn. Been waiting for a couple years for the navy to come back! Finally!
