Nice Boot But Not Waterproof

I bought these precisely because they run a bit narrow and nobody makes narrow width hiking boots. They are very comfortable and noticeably lighter than some of the other brands I tried. However, they are absolutely NOT waterproof! My feet were soaked walking through wet grass. I plan on returning them

My Go-to Boots

I’ve owned identical boots for many years and they are my go to when I’m expecting rough terrain, and need good traction. I found them at least four years and I noticed the souls were losing their sponginess. So this purchase was an identical pair to replace the first. It seemed to me that the souls in the new pair were about the same. So I probably won’t wear them but instead continue to wear the old pair with insoles to increase the comfort. It’s too late to return them, so I’ll probably give the new pair away. Although I’ve used them many times, I get tired of them after a week such as during a Photo workshop. I feel like I have weights attached to my feet. Given all the walking that we do in a Photo workshop, I really don’t need weights on my feet. So today I bought a different pair made by Cloudrock
