Very Comfortable

I live in the Northeast. Yep, where it snows. I had a pair of Merrell hiking shoes which were good but being an endurance walker I wore the insoles out in a couple of months. I think I had a couple hundred miles on them. As a replacement, I bought mid Moab Mid. Immediately I could feel the difference as I ordered the Wide. My toes hate being cramped. I also like the height because I could now have a looser foot bed, I don't mean sloppy, and I could tighten the shoe higher up off my instep. Due to my previous shoe insoles getting worn, I was feeling some plantar fasciitis. These helped correct it through a very nice arch in the insole. As for weight, the vibram are like feathers. Yes, the shoe is heavier than the low cut but overall much better without killing me with additional weight. This model is not waterproof but was not supposed to be. In some way, I wish I would have gotten the model with insulation and waterproofing but I don't expect it to be cold forever. Anyway, on a long walk, my feet heat up. The shoe feels like high quality and I believe it will live up to it. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase.

Comfortable Right Out Of The Box!

My go-to comfortable walking/hiking shoe right out of the box. Requires no break-in. I have wide, short feet with high arches and finding comfortable shoes is typically very difficult. These are great.

Supremely Comfortable Hiking Boot

Very comfortable hiking boot. They feel very lightweight, almost like more of a shoe than a boot. Perfect for hiking here in Florida. The fit for me was true to size, and they were amazing right out of the box. Put them on, got on the trail, and hiked three and a half miles and couldn't even tell because my feet were so comfortable! These boots are great for ALL types of terrain. They can handle it all, no matter what climate or landscape you are exploring. I highly recommend these boots.

Hoped For Better

They are wearable on a day to day basis but it’s nothing that I would go out of my way to buy again or recommend. If I could go back in time to tell myself not to buy these then I would. Not because they’re bad but because they are underwhelming.
