These Are The Right Boot

These are the right boot for Florida zoo work. Daily rain, heat, humidity, concrete, dirt, and long hours on your feet. They handle all of it. Waterproof Danner Dry liner actually works. Feet stay dry in the afternoon storms and don’t turn into a swamp inside the boot when it’s 90 and sticky. Suede upper holds up and doesn’t look wrecked after real use. Traction is solid on wet walkways and uneven ground. Comfortable enough to wear all day without being bulky. Not a heavy work boot, but they’re tough enough that they don’t feel like a fashion hiking shoe either. Workhorse pair. No complaints after regular use. This is the boot she reaches for.

They Fit Nicely. It’s Necessary

They fit nicely. It’s necessary to keep the top somewhat loose so the stiffness of the leather on the tongue doesn’t rub and irritate my ankle. I’ve also ordered insoles for arch support.

I Always Feel Like I’m

I always feel like I’m between sizes, and I found these to be true to size. I was impressed how quickly I got them; just in time for a hiking trip. It took almost no time at all to break them in as well. My hike had mixed terrain and climbing involved. I’m used to climbing with more narrow shoes, that’s the one thing I was nervous about- but they worked out perfectly for it all. So happy with these boots!

Forms To Your Feet

Having an off-the-grid camp in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, these boots are put on to start my day of ground-care, log cabin maintenance, and forest walks and tare only aken off when I can finally chill for the night. They are perfect for the rugged terrain, especially considering they form to my feet (that are in need of surgery for Taylor's Bunions). In between, it's all about the slip-on to get to the outhouse and back. Thus, these are my "Creek Life" boots.

I'm Torn On How To

I'm torn on how to rate this boot. It's deserves a 5 as it checked all the boxes with premium materials, waterproof, supportive and good looking. And I couldn't wait to receive it! But under sizing fit it should be noted that your standard medium runs narrow because it was short and narrow. I could barely squeeze my foot in with a very thin sock, extremely tight around the ankles.

Very comfortable and chic, I get lots of compliments on them. They take a bit to wear in, I struggled with them on a long (14 mile) hike and had to swap to different shoes.

These hiking boots are comfortable, supportive, and perfect for hitting the trails! They have great traction, feel sturdy without being too heavy, and kept my feet comfortable throughout the hike. I also love the fit and overall quality.

These Were Fairly Comfortable Right

These were fairly comfortable right out of the box. I wore them on a short (2 mile) hike to see how they would feel, and I didn't notice any rubbing or hot spots. Compared to other hiking shoes/boots I've tried, I did feel like the tread was very thin, so I could feel more of what I was walking over (rocks, sticks, etc. ). The balls of my feet felt a little unsupported by the end of the hike. I might try adding an insole to see if it helps. Overall, I liked the fit of these, and they are very lightweight, which is nice.

Comfortable, well made boot. They're true to size, and look great! I need more colors!

I Bought An 8. 5 And

I bought an 8. 5 and I'm normally an 8. I liked having a little bit more room to have thick socks on. I wore these daily for 2 weeks in Iceland and they were very comfortable. I did a lot of walking and hiking in them and never had any issues. Very happy with my purchase!
