Exactly What I Was Looking

Exactly what I was looking for. Perfect for day hikes of all kinds. Great traction sole.

Great Shoe. I Wore These

Great shoe. I wore these soft, large-footbed shoes a lot, like Hoka's. They feel great, but I kept falling and had balance issues. Switching to a solid, great-brand shoe like these Danners has really helped, and I feel much steadier on my feet. Thanks, Danner, for always making great boots and shoes!

I'm 5'8" 155lb And Usually

I'm 5'8" 155lb and usually wear between and 8-9 depending on brand. These 8.5's fit perfectly. These shoes are super comfortable, look good and have laces that lock tight and don't unravel. This is my first pair of Danner's and I'm already looking to add. These are great for light hikes, walks around the woods, and town. Took them on an ~11mi, 6hr hike up Table Mountain straight out of the box and had zero hot spots. Keep in mind, these are a light hiking shoe and if I was carrying more weight in my pack I'd want a slightly more rigid shoe. I'm already eyeing the MNT45 Low GTX for longer more rugged or wet hikes.

Not Comfortable

The Mountain 600 has been my go-to boot for years so I thought I’d try more Danners and grabbed these Trail 2650 at Box Factory in Bend. Cool looking but thin feel that rubs a foot raw hiking. Danner should classify these as “lifestyle” and charge a whole lot less! And please set proper expectations in store. Wish I could return these.

This Is A Good Shoe

This is a good shoe but the heel drop is too much for my back. Thank you

My 2nd Pair. First Pair

My 2nd pair. First pair lasted roughly 3 years. Love these shoes

This Is My Third Pair

This is my third pair of Danners trail 2650. They wear really well, feel great and are by far my favorite shoe.

Very Comfortable Shoe Which I

Very comfortable shoe which I love for walking around the lake.

Good Lightweight Supportive Hiking Shoe.

Good lightweight supportive hiking shoe. Enough cushion underfoot to prevent stone bruises but not so much that you can’t feel the terrain. I use for day hikes and USPSA. Measure 10-4E on brannock device. The 10W gives a snug response fit.

A Very Well Designed And

A very well designed and constructed shoe. After 2 modifications I love them. The provided insole was (to me) useless so I replaced it with a good one. Also, the wide, black with white highlight laces look clunky and get twisted, etc. , so replacing with quality gray ovals transformed the look and ease of use.

Don't Think Boot Is Wider.

Don't think boot is wider. Think they may have added leather to make wider but not bigger last. Shoe fits OK.

I Have Already Purchased Another

I have already purchased another pair of the Trail 2650 3” hiking shoes! I wear an 11C and they are very comfortable in the 11D size. Minor width adjustments can be done with laces. These shoes are noticeably cooler to hike in compared to my Gore Tex hiking shoes made by another manufacturer. There was essentially no break in necessary. My reasons to buy Danner shoes include the look of the shoe and the fact that hiking shoes are their specialty in footwear.

Perfect For Light Duty Construction

Perfect for light duty construction and every day wear.

The Build Quality Of These

The build quality of these shoes seem quite high and I recommend people try them. For me, they ran too narrow along the forefoot, causing uncomfortable pressure at the outer edges of the soles of my feet. My foot sizing is 10. 5/D and so I am disappointed that they did not work out for me. I even tried very thin athletic socks. If they fit well for you, I am confident you will be happy with your purchase.
