I Have Two Pairs. One

I have two pairs. One in regular and one in wide. The wide are so crazy comfortable. Please make wide for the Sierra color!

Can't Talk About Durability, But

Can't talk about durability, but the buut looks and feels good on the feet. Very light and confortable with an excellent grip. I wish the logger mock and logger were offered in different colors in the non gore text version for the south western peeps

These Boots Are Beautiful And

These boots are beautiful and comfortable but got destroyed in a week. The gtx leaked and the vibram wore down and frayed.

Best Boot Ever!

Light as running shoes, solid as hiking boots, fit like a glove, waterproof, and look great! This is my second pair. My first pair, on the left, is about 5 years old. I inititally wore these to my office job, but as they got older I hiked and walked everwhere in them. When they started getting beat up, I wore them mostly as work boots. No problems with the stitching, the eyelets, or the hooks, I'm still on the first set of laces, and they are still waterproof. My second pair, on the right, I put on for the first time this morning before hiking 6 miles. Super easy to break in. DON'T STOP MAKING THESE BOOTS!

Very Comfortable When Walking Long

Very comfortable when walking long distances and wearing for several hours.

I Really Like These Boots.

I really like these boots. I love the shape and style and the color is so awesome. They’re comfortable and provide just the right amount of cushion and support. The pacific northwest is its own beast regarding climate, that said these boots are hot on your feet. The leather in combination with the gortex traps heat inside. Also, for a hiker, the leading edge of the sole, wear the leather of the toe meets the sole could benefit from and upturned piece of rubber like a running sneaker or more modern hiker like the mountain 600. I understand the appeal of an all leather gortex lined hiker, but these, while they look and overall feel great, are a very warm, non breathable boot.

Currently My Favorite Boot Ever!

Currently my favorite boot ever! It will probably stay that way for a long time, because I don't think I will need to replace it anytime soon.

These Are More Of A

These are more of a dressed/tennis shoe with a narrower toe box. The leather seems to be 2 oz (dress) vs a more daily/casual use shoe of 4 to 6 oz I was looking for. The main reason I bought these was the additional foot cushion for walking and standing on concrete daily and the grip these (white soles) have on slippery surfaces like flat wet concrete or membrane roofs that are slick when wet or icy. (some were changed to improve wear resistance on asphalt but it's a guessing game to select the non wear resistance sole) I kept them because I wore them once and were suffed them so I couldn't return them.

I Purchased This Danner Logger

I purchased this Danner Logger 917, when I discovered that my 1st choice & favorite boot, the Danner Logger 917 Wood Thrush 34659 was no longer available, I was terribly disappointed on why Danner would discontinue such a great comfortable work book ?? I reluctantly purchased this 2nd choice Danner Logger 917 boot with a white lug sole to realize that it’s more of a dress casual boot than a work boot ! It’s the same great quality Danner is known for, so they look good & are comfortable right out of the box, but they’re a dress-casual boot, not the work boots I was looking for. Danner, Please bring back my favorite work boots, your Danner Logger 917 Wood Thrush 34659, or at least let me know what its replacement would be ? And please don’t tell me your design team didn’t develop a same or better quality (new & improved) version of this great boot, before deciding to delete it from your Danner boot lineup ? I look forward to hearing back from you as soon as possible about my new favorite boots 🙏 Thank You, LM

This Is My 2nd Pair

This is my 2nd pair of the logger 917. I really like them because they wear like a tennis shoe but hold up like a work boot. Best of both worlds.

One Of The Best Daily

One of the best daily boots I've ever owned. Incredibly comfortable. We'll see how they hold up but thus far the comfort is off the charts good.

I’m Purchased An Ee Wide

I’m purchased an EE wide pair and they were just as narrow as the other pair. The leather is soft and does not have that old Danner quality. I could cut the leather with my fingernail.
