I Purchased This Danner Logger

I purchased this Danner Logger 917, when I discovered that my 1st choice & favorite boot, the Danner Logger 917 Wood Thrush 34659 was no longer available, I was terribly disappointed on why Danner would discontinue such a great comfortable work book ?? I reluctantly purchased this 2nd choice Danner Logger 917 boot with a white lug sole to realize that it’s more of a dress casual boot than a work boot ! It’s the same great quality Danner is known for, so they look good & are comfortable right out of the box, but they’re a dress-casual boot, not the work boots I was looking for. Danner, Please bring back my favorite work boots, your Danner Logger 917 Wood Thrush 34659, or at least let me know what its replacement would be ? And please don’t tell me your design team didn’t develop a same or better quality (new & improved) version of this great boot, before deciding to delete it from your Danner boot lineup ? I look forward to hearing back from you as soon as possible about my new favorite boots 🙏 Thank You, LM

This Is My 2nd Pair

This is my 2nd pair of the logger 917. I really like them because they wear like a tennis shoe but hold up like a work boot. Best of both worlds.

I’m Purchased An Ee Wide

I’m purchased an EE wide pair and they were just as narrow as the other pair. The leather is soft and does not have that old Danner quality. I could cut the leather with my fingernail.

Very Comfortable, I Have Feet

Very comfortable, i have feet trouble, like how they feel.

My First Pair Have Lasted

My first pair have lasted three year of not stop pronation abuse before shows signs of wear on the kneel. They are a comfortable all day everyday boot, just adjust your sock material to suite the climate.

The Leather Changed Color In

The leather changed color in spots all over when it got wet. Not waterproof. The leather at the toe bent and formed oddly and puts undue pressure on my toe causing all day pain. Attempts to change the bend point have failed.

These boots are amazing!! Really light and very functional.

These Boots Were The Only

These boots were the only ones I wore for a week long trip walking around the whole time. They can do weddings and then hike 8 miles. Very versatile when you can only bring one pair.

These Are Very Comfortable And

These are very comfortable and high quality boots. Two years ago I purchased a pair of Danner work boots off the shelf as they were the most comfortable and they have held up well and I expect these to do so also. My only complain is that they only offer the wide size in brown. I was looking into black boots but decided that the fit was more important and got the brown wide as they are the same sizing as my work boots.

These Boots Have Quickly Become

These boots have quickly become my good boot. The Vibram soles feel amazing, these are more comfortable than my tennis shoes. I have many pairs of Danner boots and like all the others the quality is top notch. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a great looking comfortable pair of boots. My favorite part is that they can be recrafted and should be in my rotation for many years to come.
