I wanted to find a carryon that may also pass as a personal item for international travel. I also wanted something that I didn’t have to roll as I often take public transit and prefer the ease of getting off and on with a pack. I originally was going to go with a larger size, but keeping it lightweight and simple is important, so I snagged some compression cubes and think I can easily pack a week’s worth of clothes with mindful packing. Love that it opens like a suitcase so I don’t have to dig around to find things at the bottom like you do an ordinary backpack, and it matches the hip pack I purchased. My first Cotopaxi did not disappoint!

Great Versatile Pack
Picked this up great small pack. Perfect for personal item carry on. fully packed. I get enough clothes for a week with summer clothes. Probably buying another one soon.

Cute And Compact
This size backpack is unique due to its clamshell opening and zip-down compartments. It's perfect for a child or quick overnights. Despite not having a laptop sleeve, a laptop does fit inside the larger compartment inside. There is a tablet sleeve as well, but it's not large enough for a laptop.

20l Travel Pack
Very happy with this purchase. It stores a LOT for a 20L pack and fits perfectly as a personal item, even under budget airline seats. It is definitely a travel pack however, and not the best "day bag" as there aren't too many pouches. But if you are also bringing a sling or a day bag, this works perfectly to store a lot of clothes - toiletry bag - and even a pair of shoes and random accessories.
