I bought these and immediately wanted to return them. I have another pair of Townes sandals and loved them. I ordered these hoping to have some other options. I ordered the same size as my other Townes and the slides were so narrow and VERY HEAVY. My foot felt exhausted just wearing them around the house. Very disappointed in these.

Like the other reviews these do squeak quite a bit but it doesn’t bother me. The buckle loop next to the small toe dogs in sometimes but I think with time they’ll break in and be just fine. They’re so cute!!

I’ve had these for a few days now and some of the other reviews give me the giggles. When I took these out of the box, I noticed they were really stiff. I thought to myself, because I bought them on clearance, “oh, I didn’t realize they were leather, I guess I’ll have to wear them around the house and break them in a bit.” I also know that I have pretty large, wide feet for a woman—I’m a size 11-12 wide, normally I just wear men’s or unisex shoes instead—so I wasn’t expecting these to look particularly “dainty” or “feminine”. I’ve owned Birkenstocks before, many moons ago, and these are a very similar visual style. In the few days I’ve had them and been wearing them regularly, they’ve gotten a lot more comfortable, but I did take a star off because you can’t deny the squeakiness. I sound like SpongeBob. I’m hoping with even more wear that will go away, but if not, I do a lot of altering and mending so I can probably figure something out to fix that myself. I love my other Chaco’s for their comfort and these are no different. I might add an extra hole on the strap because again, I’ve got wide feet and the tools to do so. These are practical shoes and that’s what you should expect them to be.

I broke my right ankle and these shoes were awesome. While I wore the boot they kept my walking even. When I changed to an ankle brace, I relied on these shoes. I bruised my left heel and I was told to wear good support shoes. I wore these and in 2 days I was pain free.

These definitely require breaking in- the leather is pretty stiff at first. I wore them around the house with thick socks for a few days. They are very comfortable now and are so cute with casual clothes. I wear 8.5 or 9 and a 9 fit perfectly.

I thought I would love these but they tore my feet up from the moment I put them on. Hit in all the wrong places. And couldn't be adjusted not what I expected from Chaco
These have a seam on both sides that make them extremely uncomfortable. This is terribly disappointing since i love my chacos

I wanted to love these shoes because I LOVED the platform sandals. But these are the worst sandals I have ever owned. Without the back strap that the other sandal has they are heavy and clunky and awful to walk in. Yes you will trip, yes you will get blisters. Even on sale I would not recommend these slides. Chacos makes great sandals but dropped the ball on these.

A little narrow at the start. However over time from prolonged wear that is no longer a issue. My feet are thanking you. I WEAR THESE EVERYDAY. I would love a tennis or a closed toe sandal.

The straps are pinched and caused a blister. Otherwise very very cute and comfortable.

Strap is waaay too short. Have to have some super thin and narrow feet for these. Highly disappointed.

I wanted to love these since they're leather, but the "clip" rubbed against my pinky toe and was uncomfortable. I returned them.

I absolutely love my other Chacos sandals. Wear them almost daily in the summer for long walks. I wanted to love these so that I could have the support of a Chaco but the look of a nicer sandal for work and casual outfits. I thought these sandals would break in over time and I would wear them in, but I’ve had them for over a year and they still rub my feet and give me blisters. They are also very heavy and clunky to walk in and want to slip off my feet. My friend has the sandal version and seems to like that one better? I love Chacos but would recommend a different style of sandal instead of this one!

Wanted to love these but they aren’t as adjustable and they rub in weird spots. I have a taller foot and have to adjust these to the loosest hole
Greta
Great quality & cute style but too clunky for my small feet and frame.
