Straps Loosen

They are so cute! My only issue is that the straps do not stay tightened as easily as my other chacos. I have very narrow feet and every time I put these on they need lots of adjusting. Otherwise they are a great sandal!

Strap Won't Stay Tightened

I LOVE THE COMFORT WHEN THE STRAP STAYS TIGHTENED, BUT IT TAKES ABOUT TWO MINUTES FOR IT TO GET LOOSE AGAIN, AND THE SANDALS FLOP AROUND ON MY FEET. I WOULD BUY ANOTHER PAIR IF IT WEREN'T FOR THE STRAP PROBLEM.

Disappointed Loyalist

I have been a Chaco loyalist for 25+ years (former raft guide) and bought the lowdowns for a 9month trip around the globe as I wanted a lighter weight sandal and thought it would be perfect. I’m so, so disappointed. The clasps do NOT hold and loosen with each step. I ended up using epoxy and Velcro to keep them secure. The footbed has way too much flex in it and is very unstable, especially compared to the Z1/Z2 foot bed. And maybe the most annoying thing is I trip EVERY single time I wear them and I’m not a clumsy person! I have never, ever had these problems with the original Chacos. So for 9 months I tripped my way around the globe and then left them behind on my last stop. Chaco, please redesign these.
