Engineered For high warmth in severely cold conditions, this update to one of our most popular insulated Active Jacs, the J130, was designed using feedback from our Carhartt Crew. Every detail has been improved wherever possible to enhance functionality and comfort on the job and off.


Fit and Design:

  • Designed with heavyweight, ring-spun washed cotton duck
  • Quilted lining in sleeves for additional warmth and easy on and off
  • Attached hood with low profile adjustment at hood hem
  • Two lined front pockets, one with pen stall

  • Pleated elbows and bi-swing back for ease of movement
  • Cordura® reinforcements on sleeve hem and inner rib knit cuff add durability and abrasion resistance to extend the life of your garment

i might be wrong, but you use to could buy this coat or one similar, with a detachable hood! Not everybody likes a hoody.

I Thought I'd Try The Gray Color, As Compared To The Traditional, For Me, Tan. I'm Glad I Did.

I'm still breaking it in, really haven't worn it much yet, but it'll get plenty of use over the next few years. For me, it will be used around the house and yard during the colder months of the year.

Tough Jacket

Normally I look for the budget buy when it comes to jackets, I live in an environment that is not cold often. I bought this jacket because it is rugged so I can wear it when I use my chainsaw and split wood. This is by far the best jacket I have ever had and is very tough and holds up to the abuse I give it. It is very budget friendly and comfortable.

Downgrade

Replaced my old duck after lots of wear. Very disappointed. I had a large before but this is too big. Would almost live with it but the hood could fit a cone inside. Sorry to see the cloth liner replaced with synthetic. Doesnt feel as bulky/warm. Will be returning for something else
