Don't Wear It In A Rainstorm
I purchased this coat to replace my original Carhart coat because the zipper on my original coat had broken (zipper teeth came off and the coat wouldn't zip closed any longer). I went with this choice because I'm cold natured and wanted something WARM. I spend HOURS outside every day, so I needed something that would break wind and help insulate the body heat. The hood on the coat blocks wind well. Keeps my neck and face warmer. I also love the fact that the pockets on the outside of the coat are place BEHIND the insulation of the coat itself instead of just plain fabric pockets stitched onto the outside of the coat insulation. I love how deep the pockets are, as well. The zipper being made of plastic makes me wonder how long it will last, but so far, it hasn't snagged or anything, and Ive had this coat for about a month now. I appreciate the draw string for the bottom of the coat to help keep wind from sweeping up under your coat as you move. My only issues with this coat thus far are: I think the sleeves need cuffs or draw strings to tighten them up around your wrists to block wind and cold from going up the sleeves, and the coat would be much better if it were much more water resistant. This one is for misting rain and snow. Full waterproofing would be amazing for torrential downpours.

I love the comfort the way it looks and the texture of the coat I use mine for style not for work

Good Enough.
Warm coat. Like the way it handles the wind. I was wanting to by a coat like Carhart used to make, cotton outer shell, but I guess that is not available anymore.

Sad To Say...
Unlined pockets....and no vest pocket inside along with no snap or button below the zipper make this coat an overpriced disappointment...I was refused a return because I opened the package....Worst of the 10 jackets I've owned...Very poorly designed garment.

Love This Jacket.
I love this jacket. It is very warm and comfortable. I wish it had better inside pockets instead of the one large mesh pouch. The zipper seems difficult to engage but that may be a personal issue on my part. I love the look and would definitely recommend it. It is the warmest jacket I have ever owned.

Warmest, Most Comfortable, And Weatherproof
Warmest jacket ever purchased! Hubby got one for me a few months ago and with the sub zero temps, I got him one. He doesn't want to wear it while working because it's so nice. When he doesn't wear it, he also comments how warm it is. Well made, comfortable, good looking. I'll get him to wear it to work, but until then he'll continue to wear it going out. It is weatherproof - rain glides off, snow doesn't stay for long, and wind doesn't get through it. Can thy make a long version for women?? I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Great Jacket, Purchased The Large (Tall)
Bought the large tall, and at 6'2" it fits very well. The arm length is slightly below the wrist. It is the warmest jacket I have ever worn, even in frigid weather, I was breaking a sweat. Excellent jacket.

Warm Not So Warm
This has now become there warmest jacket which is sad. They no longer have the Yukon Extreme parkas. I own both and this Montana jacket just doesn't cut the mustard its far below zero F.

Great Coat, Good Value
A great coat, plenty of room, great for 20 degrees or lower. Good selection of colors. My go to coat when it's 20 degrees or less.

Good But Can Be Better
It's obvious that people who design clothing for the outdoors never really work outside. They have never worked on a ranch, in an oilfield, or on a construction site. If they had ,they would design clothing better suited for the outdoors. This coat needs square pockets on the front large enough to carry a large handgun or a pair of pliers, hammer, or a handful of nails. It also needs a snap flap over the pockets. The coat also needs to be around 3 inches longer from top to bottom. On a cold day this coat needs to cover a mans butt if he is going to work outside. Overall, I like the coat and will wear it, but its obvious it is designed from people who sit in an office inside the city limits.
