Solid Workhorse Shoe For Any Runner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Solid shoe with good ground feel and grip. Upper is very comfortable. Picked these up to round out my running rotation alongside the Glycerin and I'm pleased with my choice.

More Comfortable Than The 17. Runs A Little Narrower.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got the 7.5 Narrow, my historically regular size in Brooks. Shoe is improved since the 17. The tongue is softer -- so no longer rubs the foot tendon. Although the back still comes up high, for whatever reason it does NOT hit my ankle bone "bump." The only color in Narrow is extremely dull & boring. Toebox continues to be spacious --which is good for a senior with mild bunion and a couple of toe calluses. However, the shoe does seem a little tight after wearing for my gym activities. Since others have remarked the same, I am currently trying the Medium (B) width with somewhat thick socks. I think, with my Superfeet Insoles & thick socks, it will fit me better -- which might mean that a normal Medium wearer could possibly need a Wide instead. Comfort is pretty good. Personally, I hope that future Ghosts continue to run slightly narrower than before -- as it will give me more attractive choices, & I could buy multiple pairs.

Good Running Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have worn Ghosts for longer than I can remember. Some versions I love and others I hate. This version is awesome! Loved them from my first run in them. I have run for over 30 years and hate having to get new running shoes and the break in period. These didn’t have any of that. Toe box is big enough without being sloppy. One thing for me that is usually an issue is the heel to toe drop. I like the bigger drop that the older versions had. Brooks changed it around 16 or 17. I tried it and hated it. Went to a different brand but I wasn’t happy. Then came the 18’s and my problem was solved. Not sure what it is but the lower drop does not bother me in this version.

Hmmm New Tongue Design

It’s soft, like a sock, but it is really long and touches my ankle. Still getting used to it. Not sure what I think about it. Otherwise, love these shoes.

Great Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Ghost 18 are very similar to the older Ghosts. They are more comfortable, especially on the tongue of the shoe. Glad they have made changes.

Ghosts Are Great!

Highly Recommend For People Who Stand All Day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My job requires me to be on my feet for 8-10 hours a day. These shoes are very comfortable for those long hours. The toe box is wide enough, I feel like I have some room to wiggle my toes; the midsole is cushioned and feels nice for my high arches. The color choices for females is a little disheartening, it’s either crazy wild or very basic like black or white. Overall a great shoe, I highly recommend.

Pretty Great
