Ariel 26: Good Shoe But 24 Was Better

I love Brooks Ariel and have been wearing them for years. The Ariel 26 has many of the features I need, such as good cushion, good stability, and a wide and high toe box. The Ariel 26 feels higher in the heel and feels like it pitches me forward a bit, putting more pressure on the forefoot. I am not a runner; I just use these shoes for walking and everyday wear, so pitching forward is not a good thing for me. I prefer the Ariel 24. Ariel 24 was the perfect shoe for me.

My Feet Hurt..

I only wear Brooks Ariel and have for more than 6 years. This pair is disappointing. I have worn th twice and both times my feet hurt! Wallet koi ng through the airport and decided i need to return these. Disappointed

Great Shoe For Flat Feet

I only wear Brooks Ariel shoes. Great shoes if you have no arch and arthritis in your feet.

Ariel No Hate But Adrenaline Are For Me

Let me start by saying that these star ratings are not really accurate . I give Brooks a 5 star but the Ariel only get a 3 from me. These shoes simply were not the right fit for me. I wear orthotics, and at first they felt great. However, after a couple of weeks, even with my orthotics, they didn't provide the support I need for my overpronation. I began experiencing pain around my inner ankle bone. Unfortunately, I had already thrown away the box, so returning them wasn't an option. I purchased them based on another person's review, which is why I want to emphasize that this was just my experience. Everyone's feet and support needs are different, and what works well for one person may not work for another. For now, I've had to go back to my inexpensive backup shoes until I can order another pair of Brooks Adrenalines, which I know work well for me.

Perfect Fit

The Ariel shoe (wide size) fits my foot, which has a bunion, perfectly, and keeps my foot stable. It's the only sneaker for me.

I wear these two help my knee pain. I have osteoarthritis that’s very severe in my left leg and they really help me control my pain. I just wish the black that I ordered were truly black. They are actually a very dark navy. I have bought them in every color you make.

Absolutely love these shoes. I turn around and bought them in Black to make my work shoe. This one was originally purchased for work but the color is a little too light and I'm worried about scuffing them. They feel great right out of the box

Different And Disappointing.

I’m super disappointed in this new 26 model. They feel very different from previous models of Ariel. They are very spongy and the base is very wide. I can’t really even feel my feet on the ground. They are heavy and clunky. I have worn them for two 5-6 mile runs and wish I could return them, but I recycled the box already. If you like the old Ariel, I suggest looking for one of the older models.

More Bright Colors Please

I have been wearing Ariels since 2005! Like the shorter shoes laces. Heel seems a little tighter in last three pairs. I am an avid walker and dog agility competitor. I WOULD LOVE MORE BRIGHT COLOR OPTIONS!!! PLEASE. Note: Walkers need bright color stoo

Really Miss My Ariel 20!

I wear orthotics for over pronation and have a very narrow foot. I wore the previous version of the Ariel for many years and it was great. Sadly, the GTS is way too wide! I tried the Addiction GTS in narrow but it does not have the same side rail support and is not nearly as comfortable. Wish they’d offer the new Ariel GTS in narrow.

Sticking With The 24's (As Long As I Can Still Find Them)

Love the Ariel 24 and the 26, not so much. Love the look of the 24, the 26 not so much. Feels and looks like your standing on a platform, with the sides of the shoe butting out left and right. Totally uncool.

Slip Resistant Ariel Gts 26

These shoes have saved me from falling with the new slip resistant feature and are so comfortable! I highly recommend them.

Stable And Cushioned Perfect For An Active Lifestyle.

I love this shoe! I broke my ankle in October and needed a supported shoe. I have hiked 10 miles (packed gravel) and started spin class again. These shoes have given me the confidence to return to the activities I love without constant worry about my ankle. So confident I may restart running.

I have worn Ariel sneakers for 30 years. Only sneakers that I can wear for stability and comfort.
