I usually find the Brooks Addiction Walker in leather more comfortable in the forefoot area for long days on my feet, but I really prefer the look of these Brooks Ariel shoes. They offer excellent support and stability while still looking more stylish and modern. I just hope Brooks starts offering more neutral color options in extra wide sizes.

I am recovering from ankle surgery and got these for a second pair of supportive sneakers. Good shoe just not as comfortable as Adrenalin to me. Maybe not as much of push off/ flexibility

I walked half marathon with my new brooks had about a month to break them in. No issues on short 5 -11 pre-mile walks. During the race my big toes hurt and were bruised by the last mile of race. The nails will fall off per foot doctor. I had gone to store first and was sized and they new of the arthritis on top of each foot by big toe that's why a wide shoe was recommended. After visiting doctor suggested I find a rocking shoe never heard of that. Doctor suggested a few other brands that carry those type. The shoes themselves are comfortable but after 2 weeks still hard to wear again.

Love them for everyday use. I am 80 years old and they give me the support and stability I need while being comfortable.

The best thing with my new GTS 26 Ariel shoes is the toe area is wider. That makes my feet very happy. I am also enjoying the cushion in the heal and the new look is awesome!

Wider more comfortable toe area and good heal cushioning

Suddenly Brook Ariel shoes I've been buying for years don't fit my orthotics. My podiatrist said they seem to be about one-half size larger than the previous Brook Ariel model. (He compared my new and old Brook Ariels.) This makes my feet slip forward in the shoe so my feet do not line up on the orthotics correctly. My podiatrist said to try a half-size smaller, but those did line up quite right with my orthotics in the other direction. I recommend trying the new model in the store to make sure it lines up with your arch supports. The shoe still has the outstanding stability support I need for severe overpronation. And the new padded tongue on the shoe is great. I'm getting updated arch supports to see if those will fit in the Ariel GTS26.

Compared to the Ariel GTS 24, the GTS is must sturdier and more stable around the sole and foot platform. The outer tread is more durable and this shoe should last a lot longer than previous Ariel models! Unfortunately for me, the Ariel GTS 26 fit differently than the GTS 24: it was much wider. And because the narrower width was too narrow, I an trying to identify a different Brooks model altogether. (I've been wearing Brooks Ariels since 2016.)

I love these shoes. I have been wearing the Addition style changed to Ariel GTS 26 and absolutely love them. They are so comfortable.

The good Lord blessed me with a young lady on the Brooks online website. I sent her all of the information about my diagnosis with my right foot. I am flat footed and in the last year the arch in my foot has completely dropped. The navicular bone is has dropped. I have an imprint from this bone in my shoe It is very painful. The Brook shoes have been a huge blessing in my life. I would not be walking still without them. My podiatrist was pleased with the fact that I wore Brooks running shoes. He mentioned this is why I am still able to keep going. I would have so much pain that I would end up having to sit down. Well I sent a note along with my doctors note to the Brooks website. This young lady was incredible. She actually went over everything little detail with me. And explained to me why the pair of Brooks running shoes were not helping me at the time with my pain. Then she recommended the Ariel GTS 26. This has been amazing!! This along with the inserts my Podiatrist ordered for me have made it to where I am even working out now. I am able to walk some on a treadmill too. So if you are having problems with your feet etc. this is a super supportive shoe. I love them!!!

I absolutely love these shoes! The colors are beautiful, and they look just as good as they feel. The comfort level is outstanding—especially the gel cushioning, which makes a huge difference during long shifts on my feet. I work in a hospital, so having supportive and reliable shoes is a must, and these definitely deliver. They provide great stability and help reduce foot fatigue, even after hours of standing and walking. It’s not always easy to find shoes that are both comfortable and stylish, but these check all the boxes for me. Highly recommend to anyone who needs dependable, all-day comfort. Very happy customer!

I’m disappointed that the updated Ariels do not have the arch support they had in the past. The changes made in 2025 have ruined them for me. I was hoping they would have been corrected but I’m going to have to try another brand of shoes that have the arch support you used to offer.

I LOVE my Ariel GTS 23’s as they are the only shoe that feels stable for my weak ankle & doesn’t hurt my feet after being on them all day long! I recently went shopping for a new pair, because mine are almost 2 years old (I know, it’s beyond time to upgrade). Brooks, can we get some better color options?? A nice white on white would be perfect! I ended up going with some Ariel GTS 24’s with a more neutral colorway, but I would’ve loved to get the 26’s in all white or even a neutral that doesn’t have purple on it.

Brooks has done it again and created a cute running shoe that doesn’t slack on performance. I love the color combination of oyster mushroom, alloy, and pink, or as I would like to call it, cream, grey, and pink. The GTS 26 is great for running, walking, or just running everyday errands. The enhanced DNA cushioning is absolutely remarkable. It feels like you're gliding on supportive clouds with every stride. It has the perfect balance of softness and protection for my feet. The GuideRails support technology is a game-changer for my joints. During my long runs, other shoes would make my feet hurt, and my knees and lower back would throb and ache. This tech gently guides my foot through its natural motion, reducing excess movement that causes strain. My body wasn't screaming in pain after running in these shoes. The RoadTack rubber outsole really grips the pavement. I went on a run and it started to rain lightly. The traction is amazing, and I felt secure with every stride. Now I don't have to worry about slipping and falling. The engineered mesh helps your feet breathe. Some shoes make my feet sweat, but my feet felt comfortable and had a snug fit that never felt restrictive or made my feet sweat. The broad base and 10mm drop really helped to reduce pressure on my heel and calf, especially when I wore the shoes all day at work and later on when I went on my run or walk. I sometimes have issues with my feet and legs cramping after a run, but I didn't experience any cramps after wearing these shoes. I'm looking forward to buying this shoe in other colors. Brooks has definitely created a supportive shoe that performs way better than some of the other shoes I wear.
