Overall a really great addition to our firepit. It does a surprisingly good job of spreading the heat from the fire. Super well built as is everything we have from Breeo. Only downside to that heavy build is that it's pretty awkward to adjust. The 30" version is heavy and has a tendency to bind on the posts with even the slightest angle on it or when it's hot and has expanded. This means that adjusting the height or removing the deflector is a two person job and requires some rocking and occasional cursing to get right. Still, well worth the hassle for the extra heat radius!

I thought I needed the heat deflector for the cold nights on my deck. It was the best accessory I have bought. The difference between it and no deflector is remarkable. You can feel the heat feet away.

Looks great, will be using it soon as weather permits. I tell you more about it later.

Makes a big difference in how heat radiates outward from the fire pit. You do have to be cautious tha items close to the fire may be warmer than expected and it is a two person job to make adjustments, especially when a fire is burning.

A must have. It legitimately directs the heat laterally.

Best products for the best fire pits. I have a few accessories and love everyone of them. Best purchase.

Put off this purchase for a long time due to the cost. Definitely works great, keeps the heat around the fire, and I use less firewood since the heat is deflected out not up

Although it does a pretty good job of deflecting heat it is a bit awkward to use. There is an outpost rod that it is attached to via a wing nut. It is definitely a two handed operation to adjust the height of the deflector in the rod. You first have to support the weight with one hand while loosening the wing nut. Then it takes both hands to raise/lower the deflector to the desired height. Then you have to once again support the weight while tightening the wing nut. The deflector also rotates 360° on the post which adds to the awkwardness of adjusting. Aside from that it works pretty well. Oh and make sure you have some good heat-resistant glove on while doing this!

Before I bought this the only way to get warm around the fire was to be right on top of it. After using it for the first time it really distributes the heat all around so you can sit away and still be warm. It’s a well designed and constructed piece just like everything else Breeo makes. Definitely recommend to anyone with a fire pit.

Warmth around the Breeo is great when it is chilly outside

The outpost heat deflector works really great. Down side is you can't put the top on the fireplace to dampen the fire, wish that was a better design.

Working to achieve the correct height of the deflector to maximize the heat output/distribution of the fire pit.

I can’t rate your product because I bought it as a Christmas gift. I won’t be giving the gift until sometime between Christmas and New Years Day.

Purchased a set awhile back for our community and it has been a great addition - just added the heat deflector and used it for our last event and it was great!
