A Great All-around Screwgate

This carabiner does a great job of balancing weight, shape, round barstock, and size. You maybthink you want the lightest d-shaped stamped carabiners, but this is so much smoother for belaying, munters, etc. I usually take two of these on my guiding rack because they are so versatile.

Solid, Secure, And Easy To Use

Great locking carabiner with a solid feel and smooth screwgate action. The pear shape works really well for belay setups and anchor systems, and it feels extremely secure without being overly bulky. Black Diamond quality is exactly what I expected. Definitely a piece of gear I trust and would buy again.

Lives Up To The Task

Well balanced and the size is perfect for managing 10-11 mm single and twin ropes with ease. Excellent gate size opening and not too heavy for the rated MBS.

Great Carabineer

I bought it for my camping hammock, pretty sure I misused it. I used it one time it helped up my hammock and I left it at the camp site. I liked it while I had it.
