The adaptability is perfect. The color is so cool.

Have taken this helmet both climbing and hiking some bigger rock scrambles. Overall the fit/adjustment is good. It can be hard sometimes to get a snug fit that doesn't start hurting your head but overall once you find that fit there is not a lot of movement. The helmet is not super heavy either which is good for longer efforts. The headlamp clasps are also super handy and secure the headlamp great.

This helmet is a great option for casual climbers. The comfort and price point make this a no-brainer. My son and I each have a half-dome and we've got an extra for when friends join us. The one hand adjustment works well and the helmet has enough vents to remain comfortable when its hot. The attachment points do a good job holding a headlamp in position. I've was also able to use my old Petzl headlamp with a separate 4 AA battery pack in the back without having it feel off balance or too heavy.

Fits comfortably and the adjustment system is easy to use, even with gloves. The weight isn't terrible for the price

I bought an orange Half Dome helmet today at the Salt Lake City store. It fits like a dream, love it!

It did it's job on a rapelling trip but my biggest issue is that it doesn't fit snug to your head. While descending, I looked down to check a ledge before reaching it and the entire helmet slipped off my head. I'm not sure how since it was dialed in to a comfortable fit, my best guess is that its the straps and how they're attached to the helmet. I was unable to tighten the straps enough without part of them digging into my chin and jaw.

The BD Half Dome helmet is my personal favorite helmet. It feels very comfortable and secure while climbing. It's very lightweight, easy to adjust, and stays in place very well for me and my buds who have it. The design itself manages to feel very durable without being bulky, and the ventilation is a nice touch to it. It's all around a very nice helmet and I am very happy with it. If you are a climber looking for a helmet, this is the one to choose.

Lightweight, functional, comfortable. What else could I ask for?

Fortunatley havent taken a big impact to this, which would be its practical test, but its stood up to scrapes just fine and was a good, affordable helment.

Great helmet— comfortable, lightweight, and feels solid. No complaints at all. I definitely recommend.

I bought this for my brother as a Christmas gift. After asking him to measure his head, it turns out that his head was the cutoff between sizes in inches. He measured again in centimeters and was sized as a S/M. When he tried it on at Christmas it looked to barely fit. I would recommend to the next person who is between sizes to get the M/L. Less headaches and room for a beanie

Had to go with the unisex helmet, very comfortable and worked great. Easy to adjust. Wish the womens helmet that accomodates ponytails had bigger sizing. Noggin was protected though!
