Great Jacket . . . But Measure Your Arm Length!
Love this jacket, love the black sapphire color‑‑-but beware, not for cold . . . even chilly conditions. I like this jacket for all-around wear during those Spring and Fall months that really require a jacket of some kind, but are not so cold as to have you going to the closet for your insulated Arc'teryx jacket. My one and only complaint about the Gamma is the sleeves: (1) they're too long; the fit, from shoulders to body length was perfect . . . except for those sleeves. Arc'teryx attempts to deal with that via elastic ends at the wrist, but they are not quite tight enough to keep the sleeves AT the wrist. Instead, the sleeves sink down over half your hand. I've dealt with this problem by simply pulling the sleeves halfway up my forearm where the elastic does hold them, but that should be an unnecessary solution. If the sleeves are needed all the way down (for wind or rain conditions), you'll have to settle for the ends being 2 or 3 inches below the wrist. (my size was extra large, perfect for shoulder and body fit . . . but not for sleeve length).

Love This Jacket.
I love this jacket! It's lightweight and warm, very well made. Great in the rain as well as in the cold. I've had it several years. My wife borrowed it one time and liked it so much that she absconded with it so I bought a second one for her. Now we each have our own. Peace restored lol.

Versatility Perfected
The perfect travel jacket. The fit is perfect and the Gamma fills an important niche when you want a light jacket but don’t need a full fledged totally waterproof crinkly shell. It also packs small and is suitable for casual and business casual. It covers temperatures for me from 50-70 comfortably and even down to 45 when active.
