Great Quality, But Runs Very Large!
Superb build and premium fabric, though the fit is surprisingly massive. Even with my 51" shoulders, it feels oversized. I’ve had to rely on tightening the hood, hem, and cuff adjusters to manage the extra volume. Great quality, but runs very large!

Low Quality
Within the first week, the fabric of the sleeve cuff adjustment velcro straps on both wrists peeled away. I don’t think this jacket will be very durable considering it’s coming apart from only a couple of wears.

Arc’teryx Beta Jacket- Size M Review (5’8”, 77kg)
I’m a 45-year-old male, 77 kg, 5’8” tall. I wouldn’t describe myself as lean. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the option to visit a store and try the jacket, as there is no Arc’teryx store or authorised dealer in my country. I purchased this jacket online from a U.S. store, so sizing research was critical for me. After a lot of research, I went with size M, and it fits me very well. The jacket has ample room for a base layer and a proper mid-layer without feeling tight or restrictive. The fit feels well-balanced and functional. I’m not commenting on jacket quality or performance, as that has already been covered extensively by many reviewers, and this is a very popular jacket anyway. My intention with this review is purely to help others pick the right size, especially those buying online without the chance to try it on. For anyone buying this jacket primarily for streetwear or a more relaxed fit, going one size up may be a better choice. Hope this helps someone make a confident sizing decision.
