Baaj Nwaavjo I’tah Kukveni—Ancestral Footprints of the Grand Canyon

On August 8, 2023, the Tribally-led Baaj Nwaavjo I’tah Kukveni Grand Canyon National Monument was designated, protecting just under one million acres of federal land around the Grand Canyon National Park. This land has cultural connections to at least 12 Tribes and Nations and water resources for the Grand Canyon area and Colorado River.

San Gabriel National Monument Expansion

This expansion would add more than 100,000 acres of protected public lands to the current San Gabriel National Monument in Los Angeles, CA. The additional lands would increase equitable access to nature, improve public health for nearby residents and protect key drinking water resources and critical wildlife habitat.

Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument Expansion

This campaign will help expand access to nature and support wildlife migration by designating the Molok Luyuk area. Molok Luyuk means "Condor Ridge" in the Patwin language and is a sacred landscape to the Yoche Dehe Wintun Nation.
