Nice Inexpensive Reel

Not the greatest reel but way worth the price point of $10. . For most uses this is an awesome reel at a price that is hard to match these days. And it’s way better than some of other reels that cost 5 times as much.

Good Budget Reel

They had these on clearance for $9.98 so I snagged 3 of them for medium rods to catch bait with or other small to medium targets. They seem very solid and the metal crank handle even enhances this. Very smooth. I think with a little care and maintenance, these may last a while. These have 9 bearings and I verified this by disassembling. Where else ya gonna get a budget, $35, 9 bearing reel for $10? I may change the drag washers to carbontex but these aren't intended for big game in my use, just for bait harvest and maybe channel cats. They cast well, have good capacity for 10lb mono and retrieve well. The last cheapo zebco gen30 junk reels I used lasted about 15 years with proper maintnenance and still work but lacked the crank bearings so the bushings wore out. These are replacing those.

Not Bad For The Price

Have not used on the water yet, but for the price, this reel is smooth, the bail closes easily, and it uses mostly metal parts. It is heavy (due to the metal construction), but for the price, it is a bargain. Great for a cheap spare.
