Solid Construction
The feature that sold me on this is that the bars are flat... unlike some of the other models that have a curve to them. This was important to me for the times I load up the roof top with building materials that I'd rather keep flat.

Super Strong. Noticeable Wind Noise.
Got these a month ago to replace the factory crossbars. Installation kit (that was with the towers) comes with absolutely everything you need to install. Including a torque limiting Allen wrench. Very strong bars. They do come with one set of inserts for the groove to reduce noise, but it would be nice if they had included a second set for the top. Definitely notice increased wind noise on the highway over the factory bars that were more aerodynamic. Was a little difficult to install and get even on top of my car.

Versatile And Easy To Install!
Needed this to be able to carry kayaks and gear in my Ranger for longer trips. Might be the best purchase I've made in a long time! It was super easy to install and will except my existing Yakima kayak racks. Looks good on the truck and will make the bed much more versatile. My only hope is that Yakima continues to make cool accessories for the HD series and the T-slots.

I purchased the Yakima HD bars and used them with Yakima timberline towers which attached to the factory rack on my Toyota FJ Cruiser. Result is a very sturdy rack system that can haul 2 canoes with ease. Lots of other options that can attach to these bars. Very stable rack system.
