Pleasantly Surprised!

I’ve been on the hunt for rain boots for 2 years. I’ve dealt with a lot that split or were too uncomfortable to wear all day, or were great quality but so heavy that they felt like stomping in bricks. I love barefoot shoes so I decided to try these and they feel SO GOOD. I can wear them in comfort all day and night and they’re fully waterproof. They did come covered in a white residue because of the rubber material, but that’s the only negative thing to note.

Comfy, Foot-friendly Waterproof Boots

I bought these boots a month or two ago to round out my barefoot shoe wardrobe and get ready for the rainy/slushy winters around here. I went a half size up to accommodate thicker socks. Perfect! But I find myself stepping into them all the time even when it’s not raining!

Seem Great So Far!

These boots are super cute and don't squeeze my toes at all. I put in an extra insole to wear them with thin socks, but I think when it gets colder, I'll wear them without the insole but with thicker socks. The heel tab on the back seems a little flimsy for regular use pulling the boots on, but grabbing each side at the elastic works great.

Sizing Was Iffy

These are the only barefoot rain boots I could find, but I’m not sold on the sizing. They don’t have half sizes, and I’m usually an 8.5, so I ordered a 9 so I could wear them with thick socks, but it seems like they’ll be too big to wear with thin socks in the spring/summer. I’m also not sure how much they’ll hold up over a years worth of every day wear with farm work, they seem very thin.
