I sleep cold, and this bag keeps me warm. I'm also a side sleeper, and this bag has lots of room. It's lightweight and warm. Would highly recommend!

This is my third WM bag in 23 years. The first two lasted me 12 & 16 years, respectively, and I assume that this one will take the same journey. I'll admit that quilts (or bags that open completely) are a little more useful now that I hike with kids, there's no beating the mummies from WM. While the fabric might feel a bit thin, they've survived even when was sure I'd find a tear. Invest in one and you won't be sorry.

An absolutely amazing bag. Incredible workmanship, and top of the line materials. I was a bit worried it was going to be too big (I'm 5'5" and 155 lbs). I can move around easily and it feels roomy, but not too roomy that I worried about it losing warmth. Definitely seems warmer than the temp rating too!

I only have one night in this bag, but I already trust it more than any I’ve had. Took it out during mid 30s and wasn’t even close to cold. And the weight is low enough to justify a traditional mummy in my pack. Will be my go to anytime other than hot summer.

It’s like my favorite puffy jacket that I never knew I needed. So light, comfortable, roomy and warm. I’m completely shocked I spent this much on a bag... but I’m a happy camper.

This bag is legit. You can immediately see the quality and the care put into making it compared to other mainstream sleeping bag manufacturers who probably source their stuff from China. This bag has some roll around room and extra comfort with the wider cut. The down does shift when you roll, and I got a couple cold spots. Considering having WM overfill the bad for the small fee on their website. But you can't beat the weight and warmth and comfort this bag provides. Really happy with my purchase, and I'm someone who regularly experiences buyer's remorse for expensive items. Not this time. Get this bag, you won't regret it.

Very happy with the sleeping bag after trying it out his past weekend on a back country hiking and camping trip. It packs small for when you go backpacking but is delivered with a separate storage bag to let the bag air out between uses. It's very light! And I found that after spilling liquid inside my bag during the night (poor aim...) I could wipe it down without leaving the bag (and down) soggy; this bag is water repellent. Very happy!

I bought this bag a few months back and could not be happier. The quality is just exceptional and my initial impression of the bag is that the temperature rating is very conservative. I full believe that this bag could be used 10 degrees lower than the stated temperature rating. To give myself a bit more room, since I am the type of sleeper that rolls around in my sleep, I purchased the bag expander and this made my great purchase even better. I assure you that you cannot go wrong with this bag!

I bought it for backpacking on the AT last month and it was colder than expected at higher elevations. I would have been miserable with my old sleeping bag. Extra warmth but no extra weight to carry. Love it.

I have been running quilts for a few years now, but I finally converted to this mummy bag and I'm not looking back. Much better sleep. I won't run a quilt anymore unless temps stay above 50F.

The overall quality of this sleeping bag is top notch. I have a buddy who has the same bag who said it's rating of 30deg is on the conservative side. It seems like every other bag I looked at was too generous with their temp rating. I'm 6'2" so I got the 6'6" bag. Since these are handmade, they have so many options in terms of zipper location and length which is great. I also love that it's a US made product. I'd much prefer to buy quality. I also purchased the WM poly liner to help keep the bag cleaner. It's super thin and lightweight so I can do a quick wash of it on the trail if needed and keep the inside of the Megalite clean. Two thumbs up!

This sleeping bag is lightweight, warm and has the best zip on any bag. Moreover, the in/out nylon material is soft to the touch while being super durable. Finally, it lofts up like someone is inflating it with air. WM = innovation in the sleeping bag space!

Very warm, 30 degree rating is under-rating what it’d be comfortable at. I bet you could comfortably push it to 20 with just wearing a base layer to sleep in. I’m 5’5” and very broad in the shoulders and I bought the 5,6” version of the bag. With my feet all the way at the bottom of the bag, the bottom of the opening where you face goes lines up about where my eyebrows are. If you’re 5’6”, I’m willing to bet this bag will be plenty long enough. At 5’7” I’d opt for the bigger version. As far as the width of the bag goes, it’s perfect for my build. Plenty of room for side sleeping and sprawling your legs out a little. My only complaint is I wish the baffle where your neck is was stuffed a little more, but it still functions alright as it currently is. My camping buddy has the AlpineLite and that bag seems like overkill for spring and fall camping and not quite warm enough for winter camping. I’d take the MegaLite over the AlpineLite and buy another bag altogether for full-on winter camping (at least in the northern US and Adirondacks). I’m very happy with my purchase of the MegaLite and I’d buy it again.

Excellent workmanship and materials and well worth the high price. I wanted a lightweight, comfortable bag that will last many years so I chose the best. I haven't pushed it to the lower temperature range yet, but it's plenty warm at 40 degrees and I'm confident it will work as well at 35 or lower.
