Boots Are Not Waterproof And They Do Not Last

I purchased the boots this spring and wore them everyday for three months. When I walked in the grass, my socks got wet. At about three months of use, the material on the lower part of the boot blistered. The sole split away from the side. See the photo. Really expensive for a boot that lasts three months. Yes. They fit great. Yes. they are lightweight. Yes. They have a cool green color. To the landfill? Don't think that matters. Sad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wearing Vasque coldspark a for 6 years but they have not been so waterproof last winter maybe it’s due to a tear I don’t know. I was looking for the same pair to replace these and I did but also bought the Breeze. I must tell You they are the most comfortable hiking boots I’ve ever worn. My feet are cushioned and they never hurt after a long strenuous hike where the others left my feet screaming after only a few miles. The breeze are super lightweight too! I will never wear another brand. Vasques will never disappoint in my Opinion. I am a size 7 and Unlike my last Vasques which were a a size 8 I bought a 7.5 and don’t need to wear heavy socks. No more hot spots and aches. My feet are happy!!

Perfect! Will Never Buy Anything Else Again.

I sincerely hope that Vasque doesn't discontinue the Breeze LT GTX. I've had a pair of clunkier Vasque's and a pair of Merrell's and these outperform both hands down. I've worn these in the winter with a thicker pair of socks and in the summer with a thinner pair of socks over the last year of having them and they hold up great in both (although not designed as a winter/snow boot). Hiking summers in Boise desert heat is hard, and these have not once given me a blister, been uncomfortable, or made me question my footing. Everything about them is phenomenal! I recommend them to all of my friends and will continue to buy more pairs. Now I just want more color options please! :)

Perfect Boots!

I bought these for a photography trip to Iceland. As with all my Vasque boots, they fit right out of the box. I hiked on rocky hills and through streams and wet sand beaches and they were a dream. Fully waterproof and comfortable after 12 hour days. Loved they were so much lighter than other hiking boots. Tread on bottom gave sure footing on wet rocks. I couldn’t have asked for more!

Breaks In Quickly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only done about 20 miles in these boots so far, but am VERY happy with them! I read reviews all over the place and decided to follow the advice of ordering a half size up, I will always have to wear a thick sock with them but feel it was still the right way to go. After reading the reviews I was a little concerned about the "strange arch support" mentioned by many. I was worried it was going to be similar to Chacos, which I cant wear because of the large arch support, however it's not like that at all and gives more support under your heal (not sure how to best explain this (: ) and I find it very comfortable. These seemed pretty stiff at first but after one 5 mile hike they loosened up and feel very similar to a tennis shoe. I do have to mention that the heal box is oddly large, this doesn't seem to be an issue for me, but thought I would mention it incase it would be helpful to someone else. All in all I would say if your on the fence about these you should just go for it!

At Alst I Found Anarrow Hiking Boot!

Thus I was always getting a bruised big toe when my foot slipped forward. At lasy, a narrow boot that is really narrow enough to hold my foot in place.

Size Up And You Will Love These Boots!

I love these boots so much! 1. They are light weight. I wear a 10.5, and they actually make them in a 10.5. Because my feet are so big and very skinny! (and I have chicken legs on top of that) hiking boots typically weigh me down and look derpy/clunky on me and are way too wide for my foot. 2. They are SO COMFORTABLE. Even after wearing all day. I seriously will cry if y'all ever stop making them. Pros: Lightweight; great for narrow feet; waterproof; overall good looking boot, and very comfortable! Cons: the sole is on the softer side, I punched a small hole in mine the first time I wore them (I was walking on a log and slipped). It was my fault, but just something to be aware of, it might not be the right shoe for every adventure.

Comfortable With Great Cushioning

I have plantar fasciitis and this shoes has great cushioning to cushion my feet for long distance hiking. Great for wet and dry conditions.

Very Tight Run Small

I so wanted to live these. My foot leans towards a narrow size and these were really tight on me. I’m also between 9.5 and 10 so I got a 10. My foot was touching the bed without walking. They weren’t as comfortable as other brands I tried on. They are nice looking though. Sadly had to return.

Best Hiking Boot I Have Ever Owned

I have a wide foot and I struggle finding a pair that fit well. I normally settle for Solomon’s or Merrill’s but decided to give these a try so I went with the wide. It was a perfect match. Lightweight, comfortable with great traction. Money well spent!

Good, But Not Good

I got my hiking boots today and they’re cool, but they run too narrow. My feet aren’t too wide. I’ll recommend you guys to order a little bigger than normal and wider, so you guys can be more comfortable

Comfortable, Uber-light Waterproof Boots

These run a bit small so definitely get a half size up from your typical size! I bought these boots a month ago and have hiked 50+ miles in them. Other boots have left my feet feeling unduly sore, but these bad boys really keep them happy. Trail runners are a common suggestion for people who complain of sore feet, but I want ankle support and the Breeze LT GTX fits the bill. I do wish they came in a non-waterproof version! Waterproof boots historically do not breathe well leading to trapped sweat and moisture and these boots are no exception. After a long hike in the rain, my boots were totally soaked (to be expected hiking 12 miles in a downpour. No waterproof boot can keep you dry in those conditions!). It took three days for my Breeze LT GTX boots to dry which was a bummer. All in all, would totally recommend!
