Works as expected and the retractable pole is a nice touch. Allows me to be safer while climber at A good price point as well. Definetly would recommend

This is an awesome stick clip. It is sturdy, easy to use, compact, but it is a little too short for many of the first bolts at my local crag. If you want something for your projects that you can clip while you climb this is a great option however.

Very happy we decided to purchase this item! Great for stick clipping first bolt or for carrying up the route to put up a top rope on something really hard!

Finally bought a stick clip. (Used to just make do with a real stick and the bunny ears.) The actual stick part of this is great. Very rigid even at full extension. I was a little upset that I couldn't get the 12' version, but now I'm happy that I have one that will actually fit inside my climbing pack. I'm less jazzed about the carabiner attachment. Even with the ability to adjust the gate holder this doesn't hold the biner very tightly and it can it knocked out way too easily. And I have yet to successfully use this to just clip a rope into an already-hung quickdraw (using the method described in most videos of trying to pin the rope under held carabiner).

I’m pretty happy with this! Very easy to carry since it can be collapsed into a shorter stick, fits my rope bag perfectly. And it makes me feel so much safer that I don’t need to worry about fall before the first anchor.
