My mother-in-law gave me a therma-rest air mattress about 37 years ago. I got quite a lot of use out of it; from camping to crashing at a friends place. It was 12 years old when I took it with me to hike the Appalachian Trail it made it from Georgia to Connecticut. I bought this to use in my truck bed and it is wonderful! I slept comfortably on hard plywood in single digit temperatures. I am also no longer lightheaded from blowing because of the "pump sack" it comes with.
