Better Insulation Then Previous Models And More Robust.
This sleeping pad lives up to its thermal insulation rating. I found the material to be a bit more robust than the NeoX Lite pad I purchased earlier (and punctured accidentally while inflating it as it hit a tree branch). Not noisy either like the yellow Neo XLite pad. So I am more pleased with this version. Only slightly heavier weight.

Nols Patagonia And Beyond
Awesome sleep pad. Borrowed a used one 6 years ago and it worked for me EVERY SINGLE NIGHT for 5 months on a NOLS course in Patagonia, and we put all of our gear through the worst of it. I returned it to my friend and bought my own finally - have had it on over a dozen backpacking and camping trips over the last 5 years, still in excellent condition. It seems if they're built right, they'll work for years, so if you got a bad one like some of these reviews say, return and get a replacement - just bad luck for some folks it seems. I wouldn't call them "self inflating" as I just fill it up with breath, the foam doesn't self-expand all the way, and the stuff sack has a weird exterior flap for some purpose I've yet to discover, but judging purely on main product durability, comfort, and performance here demands 5 stars EASILY.

Great Pad- Awful Stuff Sac
I’ve had this for two or three years now and I think the actual pad is pretty good. Not super thick but easy to blow up. My problem is the stuff sac. It’s like I need laser precision every time to put it back, so every time I use it I end up angry and spend 20 minutes wasting my time putting it back. I probably should just order a different stuff sac for it, but I just don’t understand why it was designed this way. I have literally ripped seams from stretching the stuff sac over the perfectly deflated and rolled up pad. I can’t be the only one with this problem.

No Way. Shoppers Beware.
My partner has had nothing but wonderful things to say about his Therm-a-Rest (which is still going strong after MANY years) so when the time came, I knew I would invest in one for myself. Unfortunately for me, I chose this one and absolutely wasted my money. Not sure if this is how they all are or I just got one from a bad run, but considering how pleased so many friends and family members are with theirs, disappointed is an understatement. When it first arrived, I was thrilled - having tested it for only about 10 mins. Big mistake. Fast forward to camping: I've used it for 3 trips this year (only one of which was within the "better sleep" guarantee window) and each one has left me more and more disappointed with the product. This past weekend it was actively leaking air...the sound woke me up several times in the middle of the night and by morning, I was in a lot of pain). New to these, I first thought it may be user error but reread all instructions and my partner confirmed correct use as well. So, we decided to do some more home testing and sure enough, even without any weight on it, the thing lost so much air overnight that I could roll it up and back into the stuff sack with ease. I would be better off sleeping on my yoga mat.

My Favorite Pad - Even Compared To More Expensive Options
I enjoy the stability of a self-inflating sleeping pad. It is the closest thing in my mind to sleeping on my firm memory foam mattress at home. The Prolite Plus is just thick enough to allow me to sleep on my side without my hipbones digging into the ground. I wish the R value were a little higher, but to raise the R value you'd have to make it thicker and heavier. Overall, the prolite plus is a great compromise - perfect for summer camping on its own and workable for winter camping with a foam pad underneath.

Love My Prolite Plus - Works Great!
I used my Prolite Plus for the very first time and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to inflate (self-inflate plus a few puffs), and how effective it was in keeping me warm at night. Temps in the So. California mountains dropped to the mid-30s and I slept like a baby because I felt totally insulated from the cold ground, and it was super comfortable, too. I also felt that the weight is reasonable for transporting on my bike for bikepacking and road touring. Lastly, I love that it is reasonably priced for the quality and performance that you get.

Great Change To The Winglock Valve
I purchased this as a slight upgrade from my Thermarest Trail Scout that is no longer holding air after several years of use. I liked that this sleeping pad had the new winglock valve. The valve is a big upgrade from inflating the mat and trying to not let any air out while you blow it up. It also deflates quicker with the help of the valve.

Comfy Sleep Mat
I’ve used this mat only twice but find it very easy to inflate and pack up for the next trip. Two thumbs up for those who like practical and effective gear.
