Liner A Thumbs Down

Have worn several Ten Thousand clothes over the years but recently tried the interval liner short. Was quite disappointed, the liner is terrible, it was loose and baggy constantly riding up, zero compression. The 7” Shorts were great I’d pass on the liner. I will have to cut it out as I’ve worn them twice to make sure I wasn’t crazy. I have several other companies shorts with liners in them and unfortunately, these were the worst. I am a 35” waist so I went with XL as they say in many questions size up. The waist is fine and the right size and no, I don’t have tiny legs which was what I thought it may be but I’m 5’11 210 and wear between Lg and XL on all my other liner shorts.

Inconsistent Sizing & Poor Stitching

TLDR: The L in the interval shorts is massive vs the L in the tactical shorts which is small. I'm 32-34 and I should have got the M in the interval with liner and XL in the Tactical with Liner. Plus the stitching of the liner and waistband will likely start falling apart. I originally purchased the 7" Tactical shorts with the liner in L and they were tight on me. No big deal, I'm normally a 32-34 and mediums fit great when I'm cutting and Larges fit well for both bulking and cutting. But the other issue was that the liner stitching was terrible and already was coming apart after 1 wear of those shorts. So thankfully Ten Thousand gave me a credit for the shorts. So I figured I would try the liner interval shorts. I got the same size- Large, 7" with liner. And I'm basically swimming in them. Because of that I haven't been wearing them as much. And I am concerned that the stitching will start to come apart since it is already happening to all of the tactical shorts I purchased. So If you're a 32-34 get the Mediums of the interval shorts. And keep in mind that the stitching may start to fall apart. Overall for the price the material is nice, the colors are nice, but I'd expect significantly better stitching quality and more consistent sizing.

Poor Quality, Overpriced

Extremely comfortable shorts, the best liner I have found to date. However the durability of these shorts is lacking. I have multiple pairs that I wear and wash weekly. The logo decorations and the black trim will fail, peel, and tear off, leaving these looking ragged after a few months. One pair has separated at the side seam from the glue and trim failure after around nine months. I was DENIED WARRANTY because they were on "final sale" when purchased. Crappy excuse to not back up your products, especially since they are now demanding premium prices. Lost a customer Ten Thousand.

Good Shorts But With A Issue

Overall good shorts from materials, design to durability. I own several pairs of the 7-inch unlined version with no longevity issues so far. A issue I’ve noticed is on the back of the shorts where the horizontal seam is glued (just below the waistband), my synthetic shirts tend to get snagged by this. Not sure of the exact reason, my guess is the material doesn’t sit perfectly flush, so it slightly grabs the shirt. Hoping the Ten Thousand team can fixed this on future iterations.
