Catches Fish

The Strike King Pro Model 5XD is one of my go-to deep diving crankbaits. It'll get down to 15-16 feet on a long cast and lighter line. The 5XD is heavy enough to chuck a long cast, and runs deep without overpowering my heavy powered, moderate action, crankbait rod. It's got good action and runs true out of the box. The hooks are solid. The bottom line is that it catches fish.

Wasn't able to use it much as on the second cast it was gobbled up by a Northern and then the line was cut

Gets down to 12 feet on 12 lb test was hoping for 15ft but I'll need to chang my line. Over all it works well in trees with little to no snags.

It's Like A Real Bait Fish

This lure is actually quite effective and it does mimic one of the live fish normally used as live bait, as long as you get the most natural looking possible resembling one of the fish used as live bait in the local area, the action is really live like.
