Catch Release
The KVD 200 dives between 4-7 feet on a braid to 10 lb, 12 foot fluorocarbon leader depending on how far you cast and how long you crank it down. I'm able to cast it like a bullet on both a spinning and baitcasting rod because of the weight transfer system and shape of the bait. It has a wide, erratic darting action that works well to trigger a strike. The bait does suspend on the pause in water temps between 62 F and 72 F that I've used it. I was very impressed with the realism of the natural bream color I ordered and it seemed to fool the bass too. Sharp hooks, but not sticky sharp. Overall a good jerkbait to keep in my rotation that doesn't break the bank.

Online photo shows 2 hooks as in KVD HCKVDJ200 models. I received the longer 3 hook lure as in KVD HCKVDJ300 models. Had to send entire order back and probably will not receive the ones I ordered.

Size 4 hooks have helped me catch hundreds of fish and release them without having to replace the hooks!

I've used the Rapala X-Raps for years, and they are great baits. I have to say though Strike King models such as this bait are much more durable and produce just as many fish.

I have many of these and fish them a lot because they work, you should go get you some

I bought this lure because it was a clearance item. I wasn't expecting too much....boy I was pleasantly surprised. Fishing here in Florida can be tough late summer, but when it seemed like all other lures where shut down, this one came to life. (conditions: lake, fairly weedy, scattered timber, mostly clear water, windy...day after Hurricane Hermine) Lure: Good size, solid body structure, and surprisingly enough....great hooks on it! Usually I have to change out treble hooks on hard baits, but the hooks on this KVD bait are strong enough to horse a big fish! Talk to me!!! Excellent lure, think I'll buy another for back-up. Thanks Dick's and Strike King!

Bought this lure because it was on clearance; but its' performance+ bass-catching ability will bring me back for more-

I used this from shore on SF Bay for stripers and it casts like a bullet. It has a nice motion going super slow or really fast. And it works well both using a jerking motion and with a straight retrieve.

Best jerk bait around! Much better at swimming than other jerks.

Great on the Penobscot river and outfished all other offerings. The flash is excellent and it was fun to watch the fish come up and chase the lure. Can't say what it will do in warmer water but it did the trick in June.

This is a great jerkbait for the price! It catches fish but doesn't compare to the megabass obviously. For the price i highly recommend!
