I got this rod a couple weeks ago as an upgrade for my MH. I have been very happy with it. Sensitivity is great feels like decent backbone.

On second Rod as the tip just snapped a 2lb Bass. It was only two weeks old. So far only caught two small Bass (<2lb) no issues. Return/Exchange was easy. The tips are very sensitive so be careful setting your hook. And pulling the fish in, net is highly recommended for those above 2lb fish.

This rod does the job and at a good price. So far it hasn’t snapped like others I purchased .

Bought the extra fast action and is very stiff, handle is long and has a nice feel to it

I have 4 of these rods in different actions. You can’t beat the action and liteness of the rod for the cost.

Had this for about a year and the reel tightener thing broke

I bought this for my son's 17th birthday. He was thrilled and said it was the most amazing thing he's ever owned!!!

I bought this rod because I love St Croix products. This rod is no different. It is light and extremely sensitive and it, in my opinion, compares to rods 2x its price!
