Great Inshore Rod
Purchased a 7ft medium light to replace an older rod. I paired it with a 2500 Penn Battle III. I’ve only been out twice since I got it, but I have been impressed by it so far. Build quality is great, weight is great and well balanced, and has held up to several speckle trout and flounder so far. Even handled a nice black drum with ease. Compared to other medium light action rods that I have used over the years, this one is quite snappy in my opinion which I love. I have used Ugly Stik and Penn rods for the last handful of years but am impressed with this Star. Definitely worth the money and highly recommend.
