Leaks From Wicking Up To Zipper

I bought this in February, and such a flawed design from Stanley. If ice is put in it (a cooler), the water wicks up to the zipper wings and leaks everywhere. Didn't lay on its side or turn upside down, mind you. When I sent this in for the warranty, they responded that I need to use ice packs, not meant for loose ice.

The thermal backpack claims to keep items cold for up to 24 hours, but in reality it didn’t last even 6 hours. The ice had completely melted, and the beers were warm.
