Second Pair.

This is my second pair of Madison boots. I purchased the suede boot 2 years ago and they became my favorite boot quickly. I wear them almost every day and have worn them out. I expect these will soon become a favorite as well.

Sorrel Review

Love Sorrels but was disappointed in the pair I recently purchased. They were suede and I wanted traditional leather. I did return them and Sorrel said they would refund me.

Poor Quality

Absolutely Awful. Poor Quality. Broke Instantly Upon Wearing. Stay Away.

Low Quality, poor craftsmanship. Skip this entirely. Lace brace snapped off immediately on first wearing of the boot. Embarrassing. Awful. You can run your fingers along the leather and instantly see how bad quality it is.

Complete Disappointment

I was really excited for these shoes and when they arrived I couldn’t believe it - the metal clasps holding the shoe laces in started popping out the instant I put them on. I couldn’t even wear them out of the house, three or four of the hooks fell off between putting them on and walking to my front door. I thought I’d need some time to break them in but I’ve never seen shoes like this, the qualities have dropped significantly from sorel. This was an online purchase, and I know if someone had tried to buy these shoes in a store the sale would have never happened because of their quality.

Solid, comfortable, light working boots. My only issue is the strap hooks keep popping out of the eyelets. Any recommended solution besides just gluing them back in?

Great Fit!

Perfect fit. Sized exactly as a tennis shoe would. I was worried about the width since my feet are a little wide for some shoes, but it fit me just right. The sole was really comfy with a lot of support!

These are the best boots I’ve ever owned. And I hate writing reviews. I write this in hopes that they see this comment and continue to make these shoes when mine finally give out (and not raise the price)

Great Quality

It took longer to receive but the boots are very well made. The leather is supple and high quality, comfortable for being a boot and no breakin needed. I have added an insole as the ones that come with it are nice thought not as supportive as aftermarket. Have not tested the water proof part yet.

Great Quality Boots But They Are Way Too Narrow

Great Quality BUT too narrow. The boots are exceptionally well made with lovely soft leather, but the width is very narrow. I don't usually need a wide fitting.

Perfect Boot

Great boot. Versatile. Comfortable. 3rd winter season of wear, and I only wax them once a year.

No Doubt About It Sorel Is The Best Choice For Footwear!

These Madson II chore are my new all around boots. Work great for casual or office dress. Very comfortable for my feet and an 11 is an 11.

A Dress Boot Not A Chore Boot.

This is a dress boot but would not serve well as a chore boot in my opinion. The sole has foam in it and the base of the sole where a person could jump on a shovel has leather over it. The extra leather on the toe portion would not give much protection. I would not want to do real work or run a chainsaw in these boots. I think the full grain leather is good, I just think a chore boot should have a heavy duty sole (preferably a steel shank)and toe protection is good.

Very comfortable boots. I would recommend for anyone.

Good Boot But Color A Little Light

The boots are really comfortable and look to be well constructed. The fit is true as well. My only concern was they are lighter in color than the picture. I used shoe polish to darken them up a little. We will see
