Essential Backpacking Mug
This is exactly what I need and was expecting for a lightweight, sturdy backpacking mug. The collapsible handles are perfect for consolidating and can be stuffed with socks, etc. to take up even less space and protect it. We use it for coffee from the jetboil every morning and it keeps it warm enough to sip and enjoy. Double walled would have kept it hot almost too long! I also love the fun colors it comes in so my boyfriend and I have designated mugs and we even have our own matching sporks from the company. I expect this to last us years.

This purchase was actually for my special lady friend (and as of this review, my soon to be wife...our honeymoon will be thru-hiking the AT)...she got the same mug (and spork) as I have, so we are matchy matchy! I know cute! Anyway, I've used the Snow Peak 450 Single Wall Titanium Mug for several years now and countless cycling tours, motorcycle tours, and several backpacking trips, including the AT with my son, whom also used a Snow Peak 450 Single Wall Titanium Mug (the naked one... he's boring like that), and I will likely always use my Snow Peak 450 Single Wall Titanium Mug when doing this trips with others. It's extremely durable and light weight. I generally cram it in to a side opening on my backpack with something inside it. It will bend a little if you crush is, but a little squeeze on the elongated side and it's like new again. It cleans easily and doesn't retain odors. I've yet to have is stain or scratch. Overall a solid product. If you don't mind spending a few extra dollars on the Snow Peak brand, it's worth the money, otherwise there are several more cost effective brands that make a similar mug.

Perfect Mug!
Light weight, fun colors, & well designed. The Snow Peak has a well shaped handle that feels like a traditional mug, and is better than any other I’ve tried. The Snow Peak has a much nicer finish, smooth to the touch. I use mine over flame and has not discolored yet!

Super Light
Bought this for my backpacking mug. Super light,super sturdy, great for coffee. I got the hot lips for it just in case but not too much of a burn issue so far. Would order it again for sure.
