Great Sharpener

I was ready to buy new knives, then I purchased this kit. It was easy to use And my knives now are so sharp I can cut paper.

Poor Workmanship

Threaded rod won’t go in with out cross threading! Had to use it with the 8 point I shot!very disappointed!!

Easy To Use

I had been looking for a quaity knife sharpener that was somewhere between a cheap $5.00 plastic tool and a hundred dollar system. I was also looking for a sharpner system that a novice could use rather quickly. This fits the bill on both items. Easy yo use and price sensitive.

Very Nice

Smith's Sharpening System works fantastic. Mine is not flimsy and barely glued together as other reviews here have stated. The version I picked up has 4 angles, 20, 25, 30, and 35. The clamp is made from a sturdy aluminum and the folding wings are a durable plastic. All the stones are effectively abrasive and stepping through the lineup gives very satisfactory edges on my kitchen knives. Very easy to use and there are plenty of free "How to" videos available online if you are unsure. Could it be stronger and more durable? Sure, it could be made of titanium and tool-steel, but not for fifty bucks. I'm not disappointed in the least with this purchase, it's great. I have been disappointed in every other knife sharpener I've gotten up until now, which included cheap whetstones, sharpening rods, and sharpening devices.

Works Great Knobs Are Kid Of Cheap

Works great but the top knob popped off had to glue it on but other than that it works great
