Ride Safe Wear A Helmet
My mom and I have been biking together for years. We are very casual and never wore specific clothes or helmets. I mentioned getting a helmet several years back and my mom who is a nurse of all things said that she felt they were unnecessary and over rated. Fast forward to this summer when a close friend had an accident and the helmet likely saved them some serious head trauma. I was really surprised when i put it on how light and comfortable it was very well vented and safe it made me feel. My mom ridiculed me for a few rides and finally asked to try it.
